- June is a homeless mama dog from Alabama with 9 three-week-old puppies and, beginning next week, nowhere for her family to go. To make matters more complicated, June is heartworm positive and will need treatment. All 10 dogs need food, safe housing, veterinary care, and vaccinations before they can be adopted. Thankfully, the cost of spaying and neutering all 10 dogs has been generously covered. This fundraiser was created to cover the remaining expenses, including June’s heartworm treatment, and to give this family of 10 everything they need to get from where they are now to healthy, safe, and finally home.
- CareBear, Judy Hopps, and Juice are on the critical list at Shelby Humane and they need to leave the shelter ASAP. All the Dogs (ATD) and For the Love of Dog LLC have agreed to take them into rescue if the funds can be raised to cover their boarding and care. The cost to board all three dogs for two months is $1,800 ($600 per dog). Additionally, CareBear is heartworm positive, and the shelter will not cover her treatment. Her estimated treatment cost is $800. We need $2,600 to help these three. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings CareBear, Judy, and Juice one step closer to leaving the shelter. - Barracuda has overcome heartworm disease and is now healthy and ready for the next chapter. While Sunni D Sanctuary works to find him a home, Barracuda is being boarded at a cost of $10 per day ($600 for two months). - Butch and Droolius Caesar are two of Shelby Humane’s longest residents, and they need to leave the shelter now to begin their heartworm treatment. All the Dogs has agreed to pull them into rescue if they can raise the funds for them to go into boarding with For the Love of Dog, LLC (“FLD”). The cost of boarding them for two months at FLD is $600 per dog ($10/day). Every dollar and every share helps move them one step closer to getting out of the shelter and on the road to recovery.
