A message from my sister, Jennifer Williams: Thank you. Truly, from the bottom of my heart, to every person who has donated, prayed, shared our story, or simply kept Johnny in your thoughts. I’ve tried my best to keep our family and closest friends updated, but I’ve come to realize there are so many people who have loved Johnny throughout his life whom I’ve never had the privilege of meeting. I know I could never reach everyone personally, so I hope this page can be a place where we can all feel connected. For those who don’t know me, I’m Jennifer Williams. Three years ago, I had the incredible blessing of becoming Johnny’s wife. But I’ve been blessed to love and walk beside him for the past 12 years. Johnny has fought so incredibly hard for the chance to begin treatment for his pancreatic cancer. Sadly, we’ve learned that the cancer has spread. Our focus now is on his comfort and beginning to plan for his palliative care. I know there are so many of you who have memories of Johnny, stories to share, prayers to offer, or simply want him to know that you’re thinking of him. Please leave those messages here. We will read them to him, and I know they will bring him comfort and remind him just how deeply he is loved. I also know many of you would like to see him. Once we’ve spoken with his medical team and understand what visitation can look like, I’ll share an update here. Thank you for loving my husband. Thank you for standing with us. And thank you for helping surround Johnny with the love, prayers, and kindness he has given so freely to others throughout his life.

For someone like Johnny, who is always quick with a joke and has a way of putting a smile on anyone’s face, hearing the news of his pancreatic cancer diagnosis was incredibly difficult—and sharing it with others is even harder. No matter how you know Johnny—whether you remember him as the school clown, the Diablos Chicken, as an amazing singer and performer, as a brother, father, friend or from his long standing battle with end stage renal disease which lead to the incredible gift of receiving a kidney transplant just three short years ago, we are asking you to please lift him up in prayer. Send him your good vibes, positive thoughts, love, and whatever healing energy you believe in out into the universe. Johnny has brought so much laughter, joy, music, and love into the lives of so many people. Now it’s our turn to surround him with that same love and support. Among all of Johnny’s many achievement he was instrumental in thousands of service members receiving and shipping their household goods. Johnny did not serve in the military but he has served the military for over 30 years as the pre-move surveyor with the responsibility of ensuring the proper equipment, proper personnel, proper vehicle are assigned for the pick up and delivery of their household goods. The most important part of these responsibilities was to ensure that all of the military members questions are answered. Johnny is also a Military Dad who’s Daughter proudly serves on the USS Abraham Lincoln. If you’re in a position to make a monetary donation, we would be incredibly grateful for your help.
