Help Support ABE Community Care Bags Youth-Led Community Outreach Project Hi everyone, My name is Alexis Thomas, and I started the ABE Community Care Bags Project to help individuals and families in the Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton communities who are facing hardship and homelessness. This is a youth-led outreach effort focused on providing essential hygiene supplies, baby care items, first aid products, seasonal necessities, and community resource information to people who need support. Every bag is assembled with care and distributed directly into the community. So far, I have personally spent hundreds of dollars out of my own pocket to keep this project going & filling as many bags on my own as i can, because I truly care about helping others. But as requests for the bags continue to grow, I can no longer sustain the costs alone. Our Family Lost Everything in 3-Alarm Fire — Please Help Us Start Over On December 6th, 2025, our lives changed in an instant. After finally escaping homelessness in October and slowly rebuilding our lives, a devastating fire broke out in our neighbor’s home. The flames spread rapidly, turning into a 3-alarm fire that destroyed our entire apartment. We—2 adults, our 8-year-old daughter, and our Yorkie, Sky—made it out safely, but we lost absolutely everything. Clothing, shoes, important documents, homeschooling materials, our daughter’s supplies, furniture—every single thing we worked so hard to rebuild was taken from us within minutes. We’re now starting from zero, again. We urgently need help with essentials and support securing a safe place to live. Any donation, share, or prayer means so much during this overwhelming time.
