<div>Drake Borden and Kayleen Coggins’ lives were forever changed on November 21, 2025, with the arrival of their beautiful baby girl, Livvy Rue. From the very beginning, Livvy was deeply loved and brought immeasurable joy to their lives.

<div>Livvy was admitted into UAB Children's Hospital at the end of March due to feeding and breathing concerns noticed by her parents. Her condition quickly became a huge concern by the medical staff and genetic testing was completed to determine the cause of her issues. On April 6th, Livvy was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy with Respiratory Distress type 1 (SMARD1) and sadly passed April 10th.

<div>SMARD1 is a rare and severe genetic condition that affects the nerves responsible for breathing and muscle movement. In Livvy’s case, it caused early diaphragm paralysis, making it incredibly difficult for her to breathe.  Despite everything, Livvy showed so much strength in her short life. We were told that her respiratory condition had progressed too far for her to safely undergo a tracheostomy (trach) or be supported long-term by a ventilator. This was devastating news, and we focused on surrounding her with love, comfort, and peace every moment we had.

<div>Though her time here was far too short, Livvy will always be deeply loved and never forgotten. She brought so much light into our lives, and we will carry her with us forever.

<div>The Inglese family is walking through a heartbreaking season as they grieve the loss of their beloved daughter, Grace, at just 22 years old. Grace’s life was full of light, and though her time on earth was far too short, she touched the lives of many with her faith, kindness, and joy.

<div>Maria Tahay’s family is facing a devastating crisis after a gas leak explosion at her home in Guatemala left her husband Juan’s sister, Mayly, the woman who raised him and his siblings, a beloved mother and grandmother, fighting for her life.

<div>Around 3:30am, while she was preparing food to sell in her community, her only source of income, a gas leak in the kitchen triggered an explosion. In an act of incredible courage, her son pulled her from the flames, saving her life. Despite his efforts, she suffered third and fourth degree burns across 60% of her body.

<div>Their home was partially destroyed, and now, as she fights to recover, she is unable to provide for herself or afford ongoing care.  She is currently in intensive care at a local hospital, but with more resources, she could be moved to a facility with a specialized burn unit.

<div>The family is struggling to cover urgent medical bills, travel costs for relatives to help and visit, and home repair expenses. Every day is critical, and the need for support is immediate.

2025 Wildfire Relief Fund

We are saddened by the profound loss of our dear friend Tracy Selznick. She was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend who will be missed by so many whose lives she touched. Several of you have asked what you could do for Taylor and Dave, especially during this time when we can't even physically comfort one another. Dave, like so many people, was recently laid off from his job and is now faced with a financial need in the midst of his emotional pain and loss. With you prayers and support we were able to reach over 12k toward her treatment. On July 15th, my sister-in-law recently found out that there were 2 new lesions/spots on her liver.

<div>In a message, she said, "Just wanted to let you all know that I had a follow-up with my surgeon’s office on Tuesday. My recent PET scan showed that the ablation was successful. However, it also showed some new lesions on my liver, so that’s not the news we were hoping for [...]We’re looking to see what treatments to follow next, and we will try to get back to Mexico soon for the treatments there."

<div>She hasn't had any recent treatments since 2023 (total of 5 treatments). They have been unable to afford treatments since then. Most of their savings have gone to her treaments and recently my brother needed a new vehicle for work. This go-fund-me for Susanna was started in May 2023 and below is the orginal post.

<div>Their desire is to go back to Mexico to get these cancer treatments. I know we all have burdens and needs to be met, so anything you are able to give would be much appreciated. The pictures attached are from when she got her treatments. The treatments now cost 20k for 1 week. The goal for this go-fund-me is automatically adjusted because large goals are made one step at a time. Anything received will only go to her treatments.

<div>Hello everyone, I'm fundraising for my sister-in-law who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer 4 years ago-January 2021. She has had a mastectomy and currently gets immunotherapy treatment every 6 months. Since then, the cancer metastasized to her liver. While trying to be authorized for a procedure to remove the areas of cancer on her liver, the doctors informed her that the cancer is systemic and decided not to move forward with the procedure. At this point, the plan is long term management. She is now on a low dose oral chemotherapy along with immunotherapy treatments. The cost per treatment cost around $20k.
