Koda is my sweet 8-month-old dog, and he means the world to me. I’ve had him since he was just 12 weeks old, and he’s been by my side through so much—moving to a new state, supporting me through my own medical struggles, and bringing so much love and comfort into my life. He’s protective, loving, cuddly, and truly my best friend. When we moved in October, I noticed Koda was losing hair. The vet thought it was a food allergy, so I tried different foods, but he started getting sick. He couldn’t stop throwing up and refused to eat. After another vet visit, he needed emergency surgery to remove part of his small intestine and colon. Even after surgery, he’s still not eating or drinking and is back in the hospital, being monitored and receiving IV fluids and medication. I’m in need of help to cover Koda’s vet bills. Not being able to work due to my own health has already put me in debt, and this emergency has made things even harder. I made the decision to fight for Koda’s life, even though it would impact mine, because he’s my baby and my emotional support. My heart is full of love for him, and any amount you can spare will help me continue to fight for his life. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
