Chrissy’s Update ❤️ Hi everyone! We wanted to share an update on Chrissy and her journey. After everything she has been through over the past several months, we finally have a plan moving forward. This Friday, Chrissy will be admitted to the hospital to begin the next major phase of her treatment. She will undergo intensive chemotherapy and radiation in preparation for a stem cell transplant. Her doctors believe that moving forward with the transplant gives her the best chance at a long-term remission. We know the road ahead is going to be incredibly difficult. The chemotherapy, radiation, stem cell transplant, and recovery will require a significant amount of time in the hospital, followed by a long recovery. There will be hard days ahead, but there is also hope, and that means everything to us right now. Chrissy has fought so hard through every obstacle that has been put in front of her. We are incredibly proud of her strength and determination, and we will be right beside her through every treatment, every difficult day, every milestone, and every step toward getting her home. We are asking everyone to please keep Chrissy in your thoughts and prayers as she begins this next chapter. And to everyone who has supported Chrissy and our family in any way whether you’ve donated, shared her story, sent a message, checked in, prayed for her, or simply kept her in your thoughts, thank you. Your love and support has meant so so much to all of us. One more thing we hope Chrissy’s story can inspire. if you’ve ever considered joining a stem cell donor registry please consider doing so. We are sad to share that our beloved Chrissy has been diagnosed with acute leukemia. If you know Chrissy, you know that she is the light that fills every room. We are absolutely devastated by this news. This diagnosis came suddenly and the road ahead will involve extended hospital stays, time away from work, and significant medical and day-to-day expenses. While we are focusing on her care and stability, we are also navigating the immediate financial impact that comes with this kind of diagnosis. Any support — whether through a donation, sharing this page, or keeping Chrissy in your thoughts and prayers — means more than we can ever express. We are also working with hospital resources and are grateful for all forms of support. Chrissy loves her family and friends more than anything in the world. She knows we’re all here rallying with her. We are looking forward to Chrissy beating this cancer and being home with us once again. Cheering at LHS games, bowling at the JV lanes, playing with her niece and nephew. She has so many things to fight for.
