Hi everyone, As agreed, the remaining amount of donations has been transferred to the Ready Steady Go Hello charity today. I know they will do such amazing work with the money. It really is a team of amazing people, helping so many families. We’re so proud to be donating to such a great cause. We can now finally and officially say that Lil’s did it! She has fulfilled her 9 year promise. She has grown and donated 13 years of her hair, she has donated a total of £1,677.54 to two special charities. All in memory of her cousin Alfie and in support of her brother Declan. It’s been an emotional journey but one that we will always look back on and beam with pride. You are one very special, kind-hearted lady Lily-Mae. We love you and we’re so overwhelmingly proud of you!! As previously stated, we will leave this page open for a couple of weeks to give everyone a chance to see the donation proofs. Then we will close the page down. Thank you so much to every single person involved with this journey. Everyone that donated, shared the story, send lovely messages, everyone involved at the charities, everyone who came to celebrate Lil’s first hair cut and of course… thank you to Lily-Mae. £700 donation made to The Little Princess Trust Charity. This has now meant that the whole process of receiving, sending and turning Lily-Mae’s hair into a wig, will come at no cost to the charity or the receiver. Well done everyone!!!

Hello everyone, Firstly, I just wanted to update and let you all know that we will making the money donations to The Little Princess Trust charity today. I am in talks with the RSGH Charity. As soon as she confirms how to donate, I will also do that one. As previously stated, I will upload all proofs of both donations to this page. We will make our donations, upload the proofs and then I will leave the page up for a week or 2. After that, I will close down this page as Lily-Mae would have officially completed her mission! Secondly, as this will be the last written update, we just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all one last time. Thank you for all the support. Thank you for all the positive messages. Thank you for all the love and thank you for all of your kind donations. Lily-Mae would have fulfilled her promise to Alfie and donated her hair no matter what. She was so happy to be able to finally do that. However, thanks to you all, you have allowed her to go a big step further than that and helped her raise money for 2 amazing charities as well as support her brother. You have all contributed to supporting so many children, in so many ways. You should be proud of yourselves. The kindness hasn’t gone in-noticed and we are beyond grateful to you all. Lastly, we want to say a massive thank you to Lily-Mae. Lil’s we are so overwhelmingly proud of you babe. You made your promise and fulfilled it 9 years later. Your determination and kind heart is something I know Alfie will be boasting about! Then to go even further and help others in support of your brother just sums you up as a person. Kind, determined and generous, with a beautiful heart. Declan is so proud to have you as a sister. We’re all so proud of you Lily-Mae. We really are. You did it!! For Alfie, for Declan and for so many other children. You are an inspiration and we all love you endlessly!! Thank you to you all for joining Lil’s in her mission.
