Since Christmas, our family has been facing one challenge after another. My husband was injured and needed surgery, which has kept him out of work for months. On top of that, I was recently let go from my job due to changes in the workplace. We were already struggling to bounce back from the expenses of Christmas and our son's birthday, which falls right after the holidays. Now, with both of us out of work, the financial strain has become overwhelming. Every day feels like a balancing act—trying to decide which bills to pay and which groceries or necessities we can afford. The bills are piling up, and we're already in credit card debt from the holidays. We're facing shut-off notices and doing everything we can just to get by.
