Hi, my name is Yukari, and I’m writing from the UK
I created this fundraiser to support my dear friend Eyad, a law graduate from Gaza, who is currently facing extreme hardship due to ongoing conflict in the region.
Before October 2023, Eyad graduated with honors in Law and was building a stable professional career at a law firm.
Since then, Eyad and his family have experienced repeated displacement, loss of housing, lack of basic resources, and severe instability.
Their primary family home was destroyed, and the second property they attempted to stay in is now unsafe and uninhabitable.
Eyad and his family currently have no secure or stable place to live and rely on external support to meet basic needs.
Despite these circumstances, Eyad remains hopeful about continuing his education and rebuilding his professional future when conditions allow.
Purpose of this fundraiser
Funds raised will be used to support:
Essential daily needs such as food, water, and hygiene supplies
Medical and health-related expenses
Temporary shelter and living support
Educational and future-rebuilding costs when it becomes possible
This fundraiser is intended to provide immediate humanitarian support and short-term stability during an ongoing crisis.
Any contribution, regardless of size, will directly help Eyad and his family cover basic living needs and maintain dignity.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page is equally valuable and deeply appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read and for any support you are able to offer.
some words from Eyad
Hi, my name is Eyad, and I live in Gaza with my family.
Over the past 2 years, everything we once knew has been destroyed. We lost our home, our belongings, and the small sense of stability we held onto. The places where I grew up, laughed, studied, and felt safe have been reduced to rubble. Entire neighborhoods — including mine — are now unrecognizable.
My family and I have survived multiple bombings. More than once, we escaped death only by luck. We kept moving from place to place, desperately searching for somewhere safer, but in Gaza there is no true safety anymore. Today, I have no home to return to and no clear path forward. Every day is a battle just to survive.
Throughout the entire war, I volunteered in displacement camps, helping families who had lost everything. I spent my time supporting people in desperate situations — delivering aid, assisting parents, comforting children, and doing whatever I could to ease even a small part of their suffering. Even while struggling myself, I tried to stand beside others who were facing the same pain and fear. Helping them gave me purpose when everything else was being taken away.
I want to be clear: I am the only person this fundraiser is for.
Your support will reach me directly through my beneficiary in the UK, who is helping me safely receive the funds since there are no withdrawal options available inside Gaza.
I am raising this amount to rebuild my life from nothing and to find a way out — to travel abroad, continue my education, and start again in a place where I can live without fear. Your support will help cover:
• Travel and relocation
• Visa, paperwork, and legal documents
• Initial housing and basic living expenses
• Daily necessities
• Transportation and communication
• Emergency needs as I try to rebuild from zero
Any support — no matter how small — truly means more than I can express. It is not just financial help; it is hope, a lifeline, and a chance for a new beginning after everything I have lost.
Thank you for reading my story, for your kindness, and for standing with me in a moment when I need it most.
