What Victoria cares about

I care about helping the homeless in Portland Oregon. I want to open my own non-profit in troutdale, more specifically thousand acres on the sandy river.

I'm using this as an opportunity to not only help my situation but countless other people in the same predicament. I've been living on the streets of Portland and realized that none of the resources I've come across truly offer substantial or even subtle assistance that I believe my group of peers and I can provide. All my life, since my earliest memories, my now-deceased mom taught me the importance and value of caring for others in need. Even though we have always struggled in poverty, we always found a way to get by and help a few others along the way. Fast forward a couple of decades and here I stand without blood family but lots of street family that, in most cases, have been more caring than my deceased relatives. Point being is with the help of a few, many will overcome the struggles that hold them from living the life they deserve, everyone deserves. Along with the usual tools and education that people receive through traditional rehabilitation models, I want a piece of property that is totally self-sustainable with enough room to accommodate people's own recommendations or our team's recommendations if that is what the person prefers. Whether it's self-defense, gardening, teaching, or even nothing at all but space and time to heal, I want people to come here and realize that they are important and loved—no strings attached. No drug tests or unnecessary redundant state-mandated qualifications for funds. I want people to know this is a sanctuary and completely different from the ordinary. No intake barriers or referrals needed. Just people who are not interested in anything but to love themselves enough to realize that they don't have to continue to suffer. If interested in the details, please message me and let's talk. Thank you for your time. Much Love and Many Blessings!

Seeking Safety and a Fresh Start in East County To my neighbors and community, My name is Victoria, and I am currently struggling to survive in the Troutdale/Gresham area. I am homeless, alone, and the freezing temperatures have made it impossible to keep going without help. I recently suffered a devastating loss. My ex-boyfriend poisoned my dog—my only family and my best friend. I am lost without my companion, and being on the streets while grieving this loss has been a nightmare I can’t wake up from. I am trying to raise $1,100 to get into a safe, stable environment. This money will go toward: Securing a deposit or temporary lodging to get me off the streets and away from my abuser. Cold-weather gear and basic food/hygiene supplies. Transportation to reach the local resources and appointments I need to rebuild my life. I have no family to turn to, so I am turning to the kindness of strangers. Even $5 or $10 helps me get one step closer to a door that locks and a room that stays warm. If you can’t donate, please share this post. Thank you for seeing me and for your compassion. https://cash.app/$VictoriaOates34
