Randall Curry

My name is Randall, and I am reaching out for support as I work toward my PhD in addiction counseling at Louisiana Baptist University. After spending the last five years in prison, I used that time to turn my life around and focus on my education. I earned a bachelor's degree in biblical studies theology and a master's degree in Christian counseling while incarcerated. Now, I am determined to continue my journey and complete my PhD, but I am struggling to pay for my classes. This degree means more to me than just a title—it's my way of becoming a stronger superhero for my community. I believe a true superhero is someone who helps others, and with this education, I will be able to help people in my community beat drug addiction. At 61 years old, I am weathered but strong, and I want to use my experience to guide others toward a better path.
