<div>The Aspen Acres Fire has forever changed our family’s lives.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In a matter of hours, Jason and Lysa Willis lost three homes that represented generations of memories, hard work, and family history.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>One was their peaceful cabin on Squirrel Creek a place where family gathered to escape, celebrate, and make lifelong memories. Another was the home their daughter, Layla, was living in as she built her future. The third was Jason’s childhood home, filled with decades of memories and an irreplaceable connection to his family’s past.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>To make matters even more heartbreaking, these homes were uninsurable and served as their retirement and nest egg. Like many families in high-risk wildfire areas, affordable homeowners insurance simply wasn’t an option, leaving them with no coverage when everything was lost.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As if losing three homes wasn’t enough, Jason and Lysa have also been forced to evacuate their primary residence in Colorado City, leaving them displaced and uncertain about what comes next.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>While buildings can be rebuilt, so many of the things lost can never be replaced, family keepsakes, photographs, heirlooms, and the places where countless memories were made.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If you know Jason and Lysa, you know they are the kind of people who are always the first to lend a helping hand. Today, they are the ones who need the support of their community.

<div>Your donation no matter the amount will help provide immediate necessities, assist with cleanup and recovery, and help them begin the long journey of rebuilding after this devastating loss. If you’re unable to give, sharing this fundraiser with your friends and family would mean the world to us.

</div>

<div>Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and prayers. Your support has been a true blessing and reminds our family that they are not facing this alone.

Rebuilding After the Aspen Acres Fire

Layla  Willis

My cousin recently lost everything in the devastating Aspen Acres wildfire where her home was in Beulah, Colorado. I am creating this fundraiser to help her begin the long journey of rebuilding her life. Beulah has always meant so much to her family. The name “Beulah” is often said to mean “as close to heaven as you can get on earth,” and that description couldn’t be more fitting. It has always been a place of peace, beauty, and community. My cousin is a third-generation resident, and it wasn’t just where she lived—it was home. The wildfire took everything she had built there. In a matter of hours, she lost her home and all of her belongings. Thankfully, one thing the fire couldn’t take was her five-year-old dog, Ember. Ember made it out safely and has been adjusting to this sudden change as best she can.

 While nothing can replace the home and memories that were lost, your generosity can help her begin again. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go toward replacing essential belongings, securing housing, caring for Ember, and helping her rebuild her life after this unimaginable loss. Every share, prayer, and kind word means more than you know. Thank you for supporting my cousin during this incredibly difficult time. Our family is deeply grateful for the compassion, generosity, and love our community has shown. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who’s been affected by this fire.
