 Le 2 novembre, je partirai au Népal avec mon fils Hugo, né dans ce pays. Ensemble, nous irons à la rencontre des habitants d’un village confronté à une grande pauvreté.

 Ce voyage a une dimension personnelle pour notre famille. Nous souhaitons lui donner aussi un sens solidaire, en apportant une aide concrète aux enfants du village.

 Leurs besoins sont simples : des uniformes scolaires, des sacs d’école, des cahiers, des crayons et des articles de papeterie. Ces fournitures représentent une dépense difficile à assumer pour les familles.

 J’organise cette collecte pour financer l’achat de ce matériel scolaire. Notre objectif est d’aider les enfants à aller à l’école avec les fournitures nécessaires pour apprendre et participer aux activités de leur classe.

 Derrière un sac ou un uniforme, il y a un enfant, son quotidien et son envie d’apprendre. Avec cette démarche, Hugo et moi souhaitons apporter notre contribution, à notre échelle.

 On August 26, 2026, a devastating flash flood swept through northern Nepal, severely affecting communities in Rasuwa and surrounding areas. The sudden surge of water, ice, rocks, and debris destroyed homes, roads, bridges, and critical infrastructure, leaving families facing unimaginable loss and uncertainty.

 The full extent of the disaster is still being assessed, but dozens of lives have already been lost and hundreds of people are reported missing.

 ANQ – Association of Nepalese in Quebec is raising this emergency relief fund to support victims of the devastating floods in Nepal. Rescue teams are working around the clock to search for survivors and provide emergency assistance to those affected. Many families have lost their homes, belongings, income, and access to basic necessities, making the days and weeks ahead extremely difficult.
