My name is Laura Prato and I am raising funds to support my boyfriend, Carlos Flores, during a very difficult time. Carlos was unexpectedly and unjustly detained by immigration authorities, and he is now facing a range of unexpected expenses related to legal assistance, transportation, and basic household needs. We are reaching out to friends, family, and anyone who wishes to help as we work to navigate this challenging situation.

Carlos has always been a noble, hardworking, and determined person, with a passion for sports and a dream of moving forward in life. This situation has placed a heavy burden on us, and your support would mean the world as we try to cover the costs of legal representation and ensure Carlos’s essential needs are met while he goes through this process.

If you are unable to donate, I would be grateful if you could share this message. Every bit of support, whether financial or through spreading the word, helps us move closer to our goal. All funds raised will be used to cover legal expenses and help with essential needs during this difficult time. Thank you for your support, solidarity, and good wishes for Carlos.

Support for Carlos Flores: Legal & Essential Needs

Hi everyone,  On Friday April 2nd, 2021 we took our doggy Lilo to get spayed. When she got home, she was fine pretty active for after having surgery but still in pain. On Monday April 5th, we noticed this sack growing under her stomach which was concerning to us so we took her back to the vet which they recommended us to take her to the ER. So we took her to the ER and they diagnosed her with Seroma. They sent me home with 3 medications. Tuesday, April 6 came and we knew it was a sign that ok something is honestly not right here, we took her back to the ER because as she went to lay down, she slammed herself to the floor because she couldn’t be on her legs anymore and she was very weak. We took her back to the ER and that’s when they said “Lilo is not the same dog we saw yesterday we definitely need to admit her in the hospital for about 2 days.” She is currently in the ER fighting for her life.

Any donation will go towards her vet expenses which unfortunately is building up but I will do anything to save my Lilo’s life. She is our best friend and the most loving baby girl. ANY BIT WILL HELP and if you can’t donate, please share and join me in prayer. The power of prayer is everything!

I will be posting updates on Lilo daily!

Lilo’s infection battle

As many of you know Tito has been battling COVID since 12/9 and unfortunately after trying to stay home and take care of himself he was admitted to the hospital on 12/17. On 12/31, his wife, Martha, had to make the decision to intubate him, as it was the only way to help him, since they had exhausted all other treatments and he had been on 2 different oxygens since he was admitted. Tito is a loving  husband and father, we all know he is a very hard working man and he only wished he could battle this at home and get back on his feet quick. Sometimes, things do not work out the way we'd hope. We are making this fundraiser to help Tito and his family with all his  future medical bills and emergency needs through this tough time. If you can't donate, we understand but please share and continue sending prayers for Tito, as we know and have faith that he will bounce back from this. His wife, children and family are thankful to all who have reached out and are taking their time to share this.

Tito's Emergency Medical Covid Fundraiser

Elias has a rare neurological condition called Congenital Bilateral Perisylvian Syndrome. They believe it’s genetic but this disorder causes too many folds or ripples in the brain causing him to have difficulties walking, talking, using his hands and causing seizures daily. Every year we try to take Elias to an intensive therapy program that entails 3 weeks, 3 hours a day, 5 days a week of what I call “baby bootcamp”. This therapy has done wonders for Elias; he has come a very long way in a short period of time compared to his regular therapy that’s 1/2 hour sessions just 3 times a week (what insurance covers). This intensive physical therapy is NOT covered by insurance. So every year we try to fundraise, bake, and get as many donations as possible to get him back to intensive therapy hoping that very soon (because he’s close and God is good) he will walk independently. Any donation helps and we appreciate everything. Help Elias in his journey and feel free to share his story. We hope we inspire others out there that there is hope and he WILL walk! Thank you again in advance and follow his journey on ig @elias_protein_sweets Love, Elias
