"Let's come together to support Yan Yan and family during this difficult time. After yesterday's devastating fire that destroyed their backyard, garage, and part of their home, they could use our help. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference. Your generosity will go a long way in helping them rebuild and recover. Thank you in advance for your kindness and support."

Audrey was born with a rare bone marrow disorder called Diamond Blackfan Anemia. There are currently only a few treatments available for DBA patients. Transfusion therapy in which a patient must receive a blood transfusion every 3-5 weeks to live. Steroid therapy ( roughly 40% of patients respond) in which the patient must take prednisolone in order to make blood. The problem with steroids is that there are many bad side effects. The only other option is a bone marrow transplant which is very risky. We need a cure now. This GoFundMe page was built in order to raise money to find a cure for Diamond Blackfan Anemia. All money raised from thus GoFundMe page goes directly to the DBA Foundation to be used to fund research to find the cure.

Helping to find a cure for Diamond Blackfan Anemia is a passion of ours. We want our daughter Audrey to grow up happy, healthy and to live a long long life. We want her to be able to grow up without the constant need for medical intervention to keep her alive. We want her to grow up without constantly being poked with needles to draw or give blood.

Thank you so very much for your consideration in making a donation in honor of Audrey for Diamond Blackfan Anemia research!

Santos Seth Alvarez Was born on February 18th 2011!. He was a vibrant young and smart kid. His father whom he misses dearly is incarcerated. Santos was our heart , life and our joy. He has seen so many struggles in his short life span. On November 3rd on an outing to mcdonalds to eat and play he was struck by a truck and was killed the truck however drove off. He was born a saint and died an angel. My sister in law would like some help in raising some money for funeral costs, anything would be greatly appreciated. May his soul rest in peace

.
