Update on Olivia! It’s been a little while since our last update and we have some very exciting news!! Liv has officially had her very last chemo!! After almost eight months of treatment it feels so surreal to finally be able to say that. Wednesday was such an emotional day knowing just how much she has been through and how close we finally are to the finish line. Since our last update Liv has also officially said goodbye to her NG tube!! She has been doing so well taking all her medication herself and has managed to maintain her weight without it which has been such a huge milestone for her. She has been handling treatment really well lately and thankfully we managed to get through her last cycle without any fevers or unexpected hospital admissions. We now have three weeks left before Liv has her final scans to confirm everything is still clear. Once we have those results we can organise to have her central line removed and then she will finally get to ring that bell!! Outside of treatment we have been spending lots of time with family and friends and making the most of being home. Liv is still her happy cheeky little self and we honestly cannot wait to spend our summer swimming and playing and just enjoying some normality after everything this year has thrown at us. Thank you all so much for continuing to follow Liv’s journey and for all the love and support you have shown our little family over these past eight months. We are so incredibly grateful and so proud of our little girl.
