I want to personally thank each one of you who has not only donated but also sent prayers my way. I honestly believe those prayers have gotten me to where I am today, and without them, I’m not sure where I would be.
It has been a little rough, but I’m trying to look forward and not backward. Each day, we make a little more progress. That progress would not be possible without my wife, my kids, my family, and that includes my friends. I am truly grateful to every one of you.
I also wanted to give everyone an update on where I am in my recovery.
After three weeks of physical therapy, I have reached the point where I am partially mobile in a wheelchair. I still cannot bend my right knee, but hopefully I will be able to start working on that after September 1st.
All my stitches are healing well. My nub (left leg), although it continues to be the source of most of my pain, is also healing well. I should have a better update on that after the 1st as well.
I’m still working on getting used to being in a wheelchair versus spending most of my time in bed, but I’m making progress. Still waiting to hear when they will be coming out to start fitting me for my prosthetic, looking forward to being able to walk again.
My main goal is to return to work on the 31st of this month, and honestly, I believe I will accomplish that goal without any issues.
Thank you all again for the prayers, donations, encouragement, messages, and support. Every single one of you has played a part in helping me get to where I am today, and I will never forget it. ❤️
Please continue to share, we love all of you and thank you so much
