Hi, my name is Lexie and I’m about to take part in a volunteering experience in Uganda with my college I am so lucky and grateful to be chosen for this opportunity out of a large group, this opportunity is going to allow me to step outside of my comfort zone and learning different things throughout different cultures , this fundraising is required for me to be able to take part in this trip. during my time in UgandaI will be taking visits to different animal conservations looking at all the endangered species that Uganda has,I will also be spending time with the ride 4 a woman community this is a place that supports women who have survived sexual abuse, domestic violence and many others ,this place offers community support and tries to provide them a better life style.while I am there I will be taking my time to listen to their personal stories and offer them support also contributing to the community as a whole. this trip means a lot to me to be able to experience a different country and be able to volunteer and help people and the community thank you for taking your time reading this and any support made is very appreciated.
