My name is Sophia Cervantes and I am thankful to have one of the most amazing partners in the world. My girlfriend has had a hard few years leading up to now and still makes sure I’m the happiest girl alive. I was planning on buying them a pc for their birthday to cheer them on but I was recently involved in an accident with roadwork debris and my money now has to go there. Everything I’ve been trying to save up for their birthday isn’t going to even make it there anymore. I know it’s a big ask but I was hoping at least I could get a few donations to be able to take them out on their birthday. They love to stream on twitch but they have an old ps4 and a barely working laptop. Getting them a pc would be a dream but I understand that’s shooting for the stars. Even through all my hard feelings with not being able to do this for them they are focused on caring for me and making sure I’m ok after the accident. They really deserve this. I love you munchkin. My name is Sophia and I am a junior in high school. I struggle with anxiety and major depressive disorder and getting through my years at school have been rough but there is a teacher who has made it easier by far. Mr menard is a math teacher at my high school. He provides me with a safe space to come chat when needed, escape noise, and helps me to find tools at school to help me get through my time. Mr menard is a resource for all students and does his best to accommodate to all their needs to help students just like me and so many others. A multitude of students could agree that if he wasn’t here school would never be the same. Recently Mr. menard was involved in 2 car accidents within the span of 3 days. Mr menard is a person who owns up to mistakes even if they’re not his fault and isn’t one to ask or take charity from others. Many of you are aware of what it means to live on a teachers pay. I am asking on behalf of my teacher, mentor, and hopefully in the future my colleague as he is the reason I want to go into education and change lives just as he is. He is injured and still showing up to work because he refuses to not see us before our last day of school. If anyone deserves help after having a horrible experience like this it’s him. Please donate to help my favorite teacher Mr. Menard get back on his feet. Sharing this story helps to. Mr menard did not want me to create this as he doesn’t want to be a burden on anyone else but he’s let me burden on him to many times to count. I think he may be upset I created this but I want to return all the favors he’s done for me and so many others. Thank you in advance from the students who rely on him.
