My name is Paige. I am soon to be marrying an amazing man whose family has taken me into theirs with open arms and hearts. A truly wonderful group of people I cannot be without. Approximately 4 years ago, I lost my Dad just after the new year to Stage-4 lung & heart cancer. A year later, I lost my eldest cousin to rapid lung cancer. Another year later, I lost a cousin to a drug overdose. This past year, I sadly lost my Mom too. It has been a rough several years, to say the least. A while back, we had some terrible news. My mother-in-law was screened and her doctor found cancer. Though it is not terminal as of yet and was caught early, she will need surgery to get it removed. The doctors are looking for upfront payments for this surgery, but we do not have the funds in full. The family and I are looking into our funds and asking for outside help. Lisa is a gracious woman. She is non-judgemental and loves to help people. Being a strong individual in any circumstance with her heart and soul. Whether helping those as family or a friend, caring so much that she puts others forward in front of her own needs. This will help cover not only payments to the surgery but include medicinal means that the doctors and surgeons provide. CURRENT UPDATE: We first would like to thank everyone who has already donated thus far. The family is very appreciative and send their love back to you for your kindness. However, we are sad to announce that Lisa has passed as of this active update. She did not suffer from the surgery nor will she endure any further pain. We have been updating everyone of this recent news. This will help us pay for the last of her medical bills, death certificates, and funeral/memorial. Thank you for your love, prayers, and overall kindness. Lisa will be missed!
