After our family’s first dog, Coco, passed away three days after giving birth, I became solely responsible for caring for her three puppies, with help from my mother. One puppy seems relatively healthy, but the other two struggle with feeding—they often choke on milk, and it sometimes comes through their noses just seconds after bottle feeding. One of the boys is especially wobbly, and I worry that I’m not taking care of them properly.
I want to make sure the puppies get the best start in life, so I’m raising funds to take them to the vet. I hope the vet can check their mouths for issues like cleft palate or aspiration pneumonia, and help me get on the right path to care for them. After the vet visit, any remaining funds will go toward creating a safe and comfortable confinement area, buying puppy food and bowls, and eventually getting toys and playtime supplies as the puppies grow older.
My puppies mean the world to me—they were the last thing my dog left me with, and I’ll never forget the day she stopped breathing. I want to be the reason her pups continue to breathe and thrive, but I need help to do that. Please consider donating to support their care and give them a chance at a healthy, happy life.
