<div>Michael (55) and Lisa Jepson, along with their three children, live in the small village of Cannich. Michael is a family man and a well loved and respected member of the community, along with his family
</div>

<div>Unfortunately, after a brief period of feeling unwell, Michael was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he underwent an intensive eight-hour brain surgery. The surgeons successfully removed a large cyst and tumour from his frontal lobe, which was then sent for biopsy. Against all odds, Michael made an incredible recovery from this invasive procedure and returned home to his family—over 200 miles away from the hospital.

<div>Sadly, the biopsy results brought the worst possible news: Stage 4 Glioblastoma—an aggressive and deadly form of brain cancer.
</div>

<div>As you can imagine, this devastating diagnosis has turned their world upside down, deeply affecting not only their immediate family but also their friends and wider community.
</div>

</div>
<div>Michael is a warrior and a true hero. He has remained unbelievably strong and positive, facing this unimaginable diagnosis with courage and grace.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mick has now completed 60 rounds of combined radio and chemotherapy and a further 6 months of chemotherapy 5/23. This has brought many unpleasant side effects but a severe seizure in November resulted in Mick being rushed to hospital where he became very poorly and spent 5 days in ICU on life support.

<div>Despite 9 months of these combined therapies, Mick’s most recent scan has unfortunately shown regrowth of the tumour. The NHS are deeming the tumour inoperable.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A diagnosis like this is incredibly difficult to process. But after extensive research, we are determined to challenge it—and defy it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Discussions with a neuro surgeon in London, have given hope. The surgeon is confident she can remove all that can be seen on Michaels recent scan which could prolong his life significantly. This is obviously something we simply cannot turn down.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>However, as you can imagine, these treatments are highly specialised and come with significant costs. The initial surgery and all the costs included come in the excess of £40,000. That’s why we’re turning to you—with this fundraising page and heartfelt plea for help.
</div>

<div>This is our main goal to achieve but to be able is to raise as much as possible to help cover Mick’s life-extending surgery and treatments, travel costs, and any other essential needs and expenses would be incredible.
</div>

<div>We’re reaching out to everyone—family, friends, neighbours, and even those who don’t know the Jepsons—to please share this story far and wide. Help us give this incredible family the chance they deserve and fight for Mick’s life.
