<div>At the age of 33, Tamara Long was diagnosed with breast cancer. She bravely went through chemotherapy, mastectomy, and radiation in hopes of defeating the battle of her life. Even with those treatments it returned as metastatic cancer in 2021 during the middle of Covid when she was bravely using her nursing skills to manage the Emergency department. Tamara's family, especially her loving husband, Josh Long, stayed by her side and supported her through the tough times. The side effects of cancer treatment are brutal, and she had to take disability. Josh has used up all his vacation, sick, and paid time off to be with Tamara and support her during her fight against this awful disease. <div>Rowina went into the hospital on April 1st, and quickly lost the battle against an aggressive infection three days later. She contracted dengue fever, along with her diabetes levels spiking, the infection quickly spread to her heart. The hospital did all that they could to help her fight the infection, but unfortunately, she lost the battle in the early hours of April 4th.

<div>Rowina was only 58, she has five sons and one daughter along with grandchildren. Including our two that she never got to meet in person. We were planning a trip to American Samoa to visit her later this year and so this loss is absolutely devastating. Especially since Chanel hasn't seen his mother since 2012.

<div>Chanel and his mother had a very special relationship. He is the oldest son and helped his mother care for his younger brothers. Chanel was very close with her, they talked, and video chatted a couple times a week. Rowina always took time out of her day to send him a good morning message and wish him a blessed day. She was such a sweet woman, always thinking of others before herself. Anytime I talked with her she always made me feel special and never ended a conversation without saying I love you.

<div>Round trip plane tickets are so very expensive, especially on short notice. I am trying to raise enough money for his ticket along with some extra to help with funeral arrangements. Flights out are only on Monday and Thursday; I'm trying to get him home by April 22nd so he can help with the arrangements in time for the funeral on April 26th. Family Support in Memory of Michelle Jackson

<img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/42250728_1569336337141523_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="42250728_1569336337141523_r.jpeg" /><br />On Monday, September 23, 2019, Hunter (16) &amp; Hayden (10) Murray were headed home from school and were in a terrible accident.  Hayden has a fractured wrist but is going to be okay. Hunter had to be extricated from his truck and was taken by helicopter to Arkansas Children's Hospital with extensive orthopedic injuries including fractures to his left hip, femur, patella (knee), crushed ankle, open fracture to his left tibia, and a severed tendon in his ankle. He had his first emergency surgery last night and at least three more to come over the next few days. These two brothers are good boys and come from two loving parents AND extended families that love them so much. Hunter and Hayden are both students at Poyen School District (11th grade &amp; 5th grade) and are avid hunters and baseball players. It's going to be an emotionally and physically long road for Hunter and his family. Trent, the boys' father, is disabled and unable to work due to unexpectedly  losing 100% of his eye sight due to a neurological condition a few years ago. Amber, the boys' mom, works full time at David's Store in Poyen. It's unknown how long Hunter will be hospitalized and after that, will come rehab. This means months of daily drives back and forth from Poyen to Little Rock for Amber (Trent cannot drive due to his loss of vision). <br />This means Amber will be unable to work for a while, so let's come together as a community and do what we can to help this family in a time of need.  We are praising God that Hunter and Hayden are alive today. Hunter's Road to Recovery

Matthew "Mamoo" Tadlock was only 20 years old when he was taken from this world. Last Thursday , April 19, 2018 Mamoo was on his way home riding his motorcycle when another car traveling the opposite direction took a fast left hand turn in front of Mamoo, that was the moment that shattered our world and broke our hearts. Matt did not have enough time to even react to the large size Suv turning in front of him and unfortunately he struck the back side of the Suv and was pronounced dead on the scene. The other driver was not even supposed to be operating a car , he had a suspended driver's license. Charges against the other driver are pending the blood test results. Matt was doing everything right that night, he wore his helmet, was not speeding or driving reckless, had all of his gear on to protect himself but it was no match for the Suv. Matthew was the most caring and gentle soul you would ever meet, and he touched the hearts and lives of everyone he came in contact with. He always treated everyone with kindness and would brighten the room on the darkest of days. The world lost a beautiful soul that night, he was truly an angel here on earth and will be forever missed and loved by many. We are asking for donations to help with any expenses that may come the family's way due to this tragic accident.
