<div><em>We are five people living in a single room, without privacy, without stability, and without dignity.</em>

<div>Before the war, we built our life through hard work. We founded Ristretto Coffee Lab, a well-known and respected café in Gaza that supported students, freelancers, and the local community. It was more than a business — it was a space for ideas, connection, and hope.

<div>We are now living in a rented apartment in western Gaza.
</div>
<div>But we only have one room.
</div>
<div>Inside this same apartment live:
</div>
<div>•	Our family (5 people)
</div>
<div>•	My wife’s family (8 people)
</div>
<div>•	Her married brother
</div>
<div>This means more than 13 people sharing one space.
</div>
<div>There is:
</div>
<div>•	❌ No privacy
</div>
<div>•	❌ No quiet
</div>
<div>•	❌ No rest
</div>
<div>I cannot sit alone with my wife for even a single moment.
</div>
<div>This is not a home.
</div>
<div>This is survival without dignity.

<div><strong> Daily Struggles Just to Live</strong>

<div>Even the most basic needs have become extremely difficult.
</div>
<div>Clean drinking water is not easily available.
</div>
<div>A single bottle now costs around $2, which is a heavy burden with no income.

<div>Movement is also unsafe and limited:

<div>•	Dangerous and unstable conditions

<div>•	Constant fear of escalation or targeted strikes

<div>Even leaving the house can feel like a risk.

<div><strong>‍‍‍ A Family Torn Apart, Yet Still Trying</strong>

<div>My extended family is displaced across different areas in Gaza — north and south.
</div>
<div>I cannot reach them.
</div>
<div>Despite everything:

<div>•	My wife is continuing her Master’s degree in Community Mental Health, determined to support children in Gaza after the war.

<div>•	I continue working as an education initiative volunteer, moving between temporary learning spaces (tents) to help children continue learning.
</div>

<div>Our children are trying to continue their education in the middle of chaos.
