I’m raising funds for my brother, my only sibling - Kyle Clary, who passed away suddenly yesterday afternoon at only 31 years old. This is an extreme shock to our whole family, and we are facing the pain of losing him while also trying to figure out how to lay him to rest.

My parents do not have the means to afford a burial and a funeral and can only afford cremation. They live paycheck to paycheck. I want to be able to visit Kyle & I do not want him cremated. Right now, we are struggling with the reality that the kind of funeral and burial we want for Kyle is out of reach without help.

The funds raised will go directly toward planning Kyle’s funeral and burial. Any donation, no matter the amount, would help my family give Kyle the goodbye he deserves. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also mean so much to us during this painful time.

Thank you so much to anyone that is able to donate and/or share.

Jack Daniel (JD) Luevano husband and father of 5 has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 stomach cancer. First and foremost JD is a father to 5 amazing athletes, Damiyun , Honey , Hayloe , Henri & JD II ⚾️. JD not only has invested his time into his own children, but to many kids in the community as a softball coach from Woodland to Elk Grove. His passion is investing into the future through coaching kids. In addition to that he founded a local motorcycle club that regularly organizes and hosts fundraisers to help support children and families in need. Now his family is in need and we hope the communities he’s invested in will rally around him and his family.

Diagnosis information:

Initially JD complained of a “burning” stomach, and was treated for acid reflux. Then he battled with what he thought was severe heartburn. Over a year later the symptoms had not subsided so he demanded an endoscopy. On April 18, the Dr called JD to report this life changing news; the pathology, from the biopsies taken during his endoscopy, revealed that he had stomach cancer. The life of JD and his family was turned upside down. Starting the very next day, JD has had Drs appointments, scans and test just about every day. After waiting 3 excruciating weeks the Oncologist concluded that he has stage 3 stomach cancer which includes a tumor in his pylorus and several cancerous lymph nodes. His treatment will start with 8 weeks of chemotherapy (4/6 wks recovery), then surgery (partial gastrectomy & 4/6 weeks recovery) followed by another 8 weeks of chemotherapy (4/6 weeks recovery) His team of Doctors predicted treatment + recovery will be around 9 months. During this time JD won’t be able to work and as the sole provider this will create even more hardships for the family. At this time the family humbly asks for your support. Money raised here will help with medical bills, household bills, mortgage, car payments and support for their 5 children’s needs. Monetary donations, food donations or a link share is appreciated more than you know. THANK YOU!

JD’s Legacy & his Family’s Future-in Memory of JD

Hi, my name is Kris and I am the son of Teresa Potter. It is with a deeply heavy heart that I tell you that she passed away on May 22, 2024. My mom was my dad’s best friend and heart which has now been broken and left him to pick up the pieces and somehow manage to continue life without my mother.

My mom is a person who would give her last dollar to someone in need and my dad now needs your help. The family has been devastated and is helping my dad every way we can but there are medical bills, reduced income, and increased stress from this unimaginable loss. My family would be greatly appreciative of any support you could give to take the financial stress off of him as much as possible.

Please keep my father in your thoughts and prayers during this tragic time. Thank you all for your love and support.

Stand with Teresa's Family in Their Time of Need

Hello, my name is Angel, and I am beyond blessed to call myself Laura's daughter. I write this with a heavy heart, a hurt soul, and foreign emotions.

For our family, this past year has been the absolute most difficult, challenging, and trying time any of us have ever experienced. Our lives forever changed on March 28, 2022, when our mom, Laura, was diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer. The only way to combat it was for her to undertake one of the most intense chemotherapy treatments available, which she did without question or complaint. Like she always said, “I have cancer, cancer doesn’t have me.”

On July 22, 2022, after a couple difficult rounds of chemotherapy, my mom underwent an extremely intrusive surgery, entailing the removal of 2/3rds of her esophagus and 1/3rd of her stomach. All her doctors were extremely impressed by her perseverance and strength, she recovered faster than anyone they had ever seen that had undergone such an intense surgery. After spending nearly two weeks in the hospital, about half of her planned stay, she was discharged and began the extremely long, tough road to recovery. We were elated and our family begun to celebrate the news that our mom was cancer free.

Last month, my mom caught pneumonia and became septic, being admitted to the hospital yet again. Miraculously, she recovered rather quickly and returned home, remaining hopeful that it would be her last hospital trip. On November 4th, my dad, Lloyd, drove her back to the hospital because she felt something wasn’t right. Unfortunately, what happened next blindsided us all, the cancer returned with a vengeance. She developed masses on her uterus that were releasing fluid containing cancerous cells.

Cancer is a horrid, repugnant, and nasty disease. You never know the course it will take on someone’s body or how they will react to treatment. For my mom, she fought valiantly, but the cancer spread, attacked, out maneuvered, and attached to every vital organ with such aggression and ferociousness that there were no treatment options remaining for her. In the span of 6 hours, she went from 3 to 5 years to live, to 2 to 3 weeks, to “Angel, get on a plane.” She has held on for as long as she can, but in the coming days, the cancer will ultimately win.

She will be survived by myself, my dad Lloyd, her father Bob, her brother Mark, her sister Marie, her sister Kim, and my 5 siblings: Robert, Abigayle, Savannah, Jayden, and Collin. Mom is always described as one of the most selfless people anyone has ever met, always putting others before herself. She was the best teacher, principal, friend, sister, daughter, wife, and mom anyone could have asked for. She is the sheer embodiment of love, compassion, grace, empathy, strength, and so much more. She will forever be a role model and guiding light in trying times.

As you can imagine, this is an extremely difficult time for my family. None of us have ever experienced a pain like this before and we wouldn’t wish it on anyone, but unfortunately, death is a fact of life. All I ask is if you feel the least bit generous and can find it in your heart, that you please donate to help my family in this most grievous time. All money raised will go toward my mom’s medical bills, funeral expenses, and supporting the family she will be leaving behind. My dad has entered a role that no one should ever have to, that of the single parent. He is now solely responsible for 6 children, 3 of which still being minors. With all the uncertainty this life event brings, we are also raising money for any family matters that may arise in the near future, in hopes that some finical relief will allow my dad to be able to focus on his kids, who need him now more than ever, and not have to stress about ANYTHING else. He is losing a wife, and his children are losing their mother, a pain no one should face alone. At the end of the day, we would like to afford them the ability to properly grieve.

Aside from donations, I implore you to keep my family in your thoughts and prayers. Nothing in life can ever prepare you for the pain of losing a parent or wife.

From the bottom of my family’s hearts, thank you for every thought, text, call, prayer, donation, and the constant support you all have shown. It does not go unnoticed, and words will never begin to express our gratitude. We are so thankful and appreciative.

May my mom Rest in Peace. Until we meet again Momma.

Sincerely,

Angel

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mary Avant. Mary was a bright light in this world and will be deeply missed. Mary suffered with COPD & was recently diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer and Colon Cancer early December. She touched the lives of so many and it’s our turn to give back to her family in their time of need. We are raising money to cover the costs of the cremation and a trip that Mary dreamed about to take with her 4 grandchildren to the ocean. The expenses for the trip would give us an opportunity to keep our Mary’s wishes intact & let us spread her ashes peacefully. Any excess money will be given to her 4 grandchildren. Mary leaves behind, four sons Robert, Brian,Derrick,Christopher, four Grandchildren Kayla,Isabella,Abby,Jacob, and a few bonus children who will miss her dearly. If you are unable to donate please share this message..

Please join me in supporting this local Sutter family and their handsome little boy Bryan. Bryan is a smart and loving 6 year old boy. Over the last couple months, Bryan began having febrile seizures. When he had two in one day, the doctors were concerned and ordered an MRI. To their surprise they found an 8mm tumor on the right side of his brain. Bryan is being raised by his single mom, Jenna, who is self-employed as a hair dresser for a local salon. Jenna has a giving heart and in January of 2020 opened her home to foster her daughter, Leena. Once again, in October of 2021, Jenna opened her home to foster Lenna’s little sister Brynlee from birth. This wonderful family has been through their fair share of challenges over the last couple years. It started off with COVID-19 putting Jenna out of work for many months throughout 2020. In July of last year, Jenna endured a thyroidectomy for suspected cancer which again put her out of work leading to, once again, a financial struggle. In December 2021, one day before Leena’s adoption, 7 week old Brynlee was admitted to the hospital with severe RSV for 6 days. Jenna was once again out of work to be by Brynlee side everyday during her time at the hospital. This leads us to the start of 2022 with the news that no mother wants to hear. Jenna and Bryan will have to travel to and from an out-of-town hospital for multiple visits and scan as they try to develop the best surgical route to attack Bryan’s brain tumor. Please consider helping with the financial burden this puts on this amazing family. Should you not wish to donate monetarily, we are also collecting gift cards for gas, restaurants and Walmart or Target to bless this family with groceries and a little something special for Bryan during this time. This family is always willing to help others, it is only fitting they receive the same in return. All gift cards can be dropped off at any one of the following locations. Please call prior.

6 year old boy diagnosed with brain tumor

On August 20th, our beloved Haley lost her hard-fought battle against COVID-19 at just 32 years of age, leaving behind her husband—the great love of her life—Jordan, and her daughter—the great joy of her life—Katie. Haley was shortly preceded to heaven by her daughter Ryleigh Beth, her angel yet unborn.

Anyone who has ever met Haley knows what a gift she was to this world—and what a far lesser place it will be without her. As her friends and family all knew, Haley was so easy to love, so very, very easy to love. Her spirit lit every room she ever walked into, her laugh brought a celebration to any moment, and her heart—her heart was as pure, and as kind, and as loving, and as selfless as anyone you have ever known or ever will meet again.

As great is our mourning for our lost friend, how much greater a loss for her husband, Jordan—who has just lost the world’s greatest wife, her daughter, Katie—who has just lost the world’s greatest mother, and her parents Julie and Wayne—who have just lost the world’s greatest daughter. And we all continue to mourn the loss of Ryleigh Beth, who eagerly waited two days for her mother to join her in heaven.

We are sad today, and we will be sad for quite a while. We are not moving on, we are embracing our mourning. Through our tears, and our hugs, and our shock, we all find ourselves repeating the same things, “this isn’t right, this isn’t right, this can’t have happened to my Haley,” “God, please let Haley know how much I loved her,” and “I just feel so helpless, so helpless.”

Even in our feelings of helplessness, even without her here, we can still help take care of Haley by taking care of the family she has left behind and loved so dearly. While Jordan, Katie, and their family begin the process of navigating this different life without her, we can help by providing a safety net for a widowed father, start an education fund for Katie, and do something tangible that allows her family to grieve and make decisions without concern of finances.

If you feel helpless inside this tragedy, as we do, please consider honoring Haley and Ryleigh Beth by offering help to a family in mourning. Big or small, every single gift will give her husband and daughter one more set of options, one more layer of security, and one more step towards rebuilding a life without a wife, mother, and daughter. If you have the means to help by donation, please consider helping. If you are not able to donate, please know that your continued prayers are powerful, and that it’s ok to feel confused; that you shouldn’t shy away from bringing up a fun “Haley story” whenever it comes to mind, and to always remind her daughter Katie how much she reminds you of her mother—that she was mesmerizingly kind and beautiful and thoughtful and selfless—that she was real, and that she’s waiting for all of us just across the gap.

Above all else, please remember that if Haley were sitting next to you now, she would tell you how much she loves you, how much your happiness means to her, and remind you that “everything is going to be alright.”

Required GoFundMe information: All funds will be distributed from GoFundMe directly to Jordan Richardson to use for final arrangements, providing for the care of his daughter Katie, and any future needs they may have as a family. Jordan Denny Richardson is the direct legal beneficiary of this campaign. Jason and Kari Whatley, the organizers, are friends of Haley and Jordan Richardson.

Our close friend Dinah was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in June 2020. Through this time her husband Robert has been working two jobs trying to make up for the lack of income, all while taking care of his wife and sons. We are saddened to learn that Dinah passed away on Saturday, January 2nd. Because Rob has been taking care of his wife through this period, he doesn't have any time off left over to grieve and process his immeasurable loss. We want to help him raise a little extra money to be able to freely take unpaid leave from work while he gets his affairs in order and takes care of himself and his sons during this difficult period.

Any questions or for more information please reach out and we can provide addresses and contact info.

On January 14th, 2020, Dianna and Donnie were blessed with a healthy, beautiful baby boy. They named him Tasimoleatua Dawayne Comber.

Unfortunately, on July 19th, Dianna and Donnie’s worse nightmares came true. While being watched by a sitter, Baby Tasi suddenly stopped breathing. EMS was called immediately, and the neighbors helped perform CPR, but nothing could be done.

Donnie and Dianna have decided to donate Baby Tasi’s organs to help other families. In their deepest darkness, they have found a way to give light to others with the gift of life to multiple other children.

As you may know, Dianna and Donnie have three other beautiful children: Charlie, Manuea, and Leona. They, like many of us, have also had their finances impacted greatly by the current pandemic.

We are asking for donations to help the family pay for cremation, some sort of celebration of life, and possibly moving apartments, as there is now trauma related to their current living space.

No parent should have to bury their child. If we could help lift even a little bit of the burden through our financial support, I know it would mean a lot to their family.

Baby Tasi was loved and will be in our hearts forever.

Dianna and Donnie are also welcoming messages of support through whatever communication lines you have to them. They may have other methods of donating directly if you’d like. Please reach out to them.

Prayers and thoughts are also very welcome and appreciated.

Thank you all for your support and love for their family.

Baby Tasi Memorial

Jenix James was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and has 3 holes in his heart. He’s having his first open heart surgery on Thursday and will have a series of open heart surgeries in the weeks/months to come. He may also need a heart transplant in his mid 20s to early 30s. Because Jenix will spend many weeks/months at UC Davis Hospital, everyday expenses will be, and already are, adding up quickly for Mel. Between hospital parking fees, food and gas alone, the expense is going to be overwhelming and she is definitely going to need our support. Melodie had a cesarean so she’s not able to drive for the next few weeks. If you have availability and would like to help in a non monetary way, Mel could use an army of friends/family that can take her to and from UC Davis. Please let us know if you’re interested in helping with transportation. Thank you so much to all that have been praying for precious baby Jenix. I will post updates on Jenix’s Journey here ❤️

Help me bury my baby sister

This is my 16 month old niece, Talia. She was born on June 19th, 2018. Unfortunately, she was born with a very rare heart condition known as TOF. She's already had one open heart surgery a few months after birth. She recently had to be sent to Jackson due to some issues. After a heart cath, we discovered her heart is very weak and sick. The doctors said there is nothing more they can do for my niece and sent them home. If anyone knows our family, they know we dont give up, we fight. This little girl is the light of our family. We cant imagine life without her. Shana went to Houston to get a second opinion for Talia. While in the er my niece went into cardiac arrest. Her heart stopped and they worked on her for 40 mins. She was put on ecmo life support. Doctors there said there is nothing they can do for her heart. As of today, they took my niece off ecmo and shes on the vent only. She isn't breathing on her own yet. They see improvement on her heart and lungs. They dont know if she has brain damage or not yet. They do see brain stem activity. They plan on trying to get her off the vent and awake and see if her brain stem can handle it. We dont know how long they will be there. My sister and her family are asking for any donations to help them while in Houston, with Bill's, food, parking, and anything else. This is our last resort. Neither one are working right now due to the circumstances and are by my nieces side.

Help save Talia

Early this morning, William “Billy” Williams was called home. My uncle was a passionate man who loved to ride his motorcycle, and especially loved his two children, Jessica and Ricky with all of his heart. Since his passing was unexpected, my uncles funeral Is difficult to plan and the funds are not available. Any help that can be offered at this difficult time is greatly appreciated. With the holidays approaching, we understand monetary donations may be difficult, so prayers and support are extremely welcome as well.

Help Caiden Fight Cancer!

Over Labor Day weekend 2017, Caiden Flamer was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. The tumor on his ankle was fast growing and had made it impossible for him to walk without crutches. His doctors at UC Davis quickly diagnosed him and created a plan to fight this disease aggressively.

Caiden's Planned Treatment
For now, Caiden's treatment includes chemotherapy and surgery and will take place at UC Davis over the next nine months. During this time his parents, Mark and Nicole, will commute to Davis and stay with Caiden for 4-5 days every two weeks (approximately). When not in Davis, Mark and Nicole hope to create as normal a life as possible for Caiden. This will include creating a space at home accommodating to his illness and hiring tutors so he can keep up on his school work.

Why We Are Raising Money
We are raising funds to help with travel costs, tutors for Caiden, and any other unplanned expenses that arise during this difficult time.

All donations will go directly to support Caiden and his family. Caiden’s auntie cuz/godmother (Michelle Zauss), who set up this fund, transfer all donations received into a bank account set up specifically to receive these funds. From there the funds will be withdrawn and distributed directly to Caiden’s parents.

We appreciate all the love and support we have received from our friends and family so far!! We understand not everyone can afford to donate at this time. Regardless if you can contribute money or not, we believe in the power of prayer and positive thoughts and ask all of you to keep sending those our way!

Thank you!!!

His two daughters are only 3 and 1 and will never remember how much their dad loved them.

Anybody who knew Billy knew he was a friend to everyone he met and would talk to you for hours. He loved the outdoors and would spend time with his kids hunting or fishing every minute he could. He loved to laugh and would try his hardest to have everyone around him laughing too.

While we are all asking the whys and trying to pick up the pieces we don't want his wife to have to worry about where she will get the money to deal with these unexpected expenses and get back on her feet.

Funeral services for Billy Wilden

Seanna was a loved mother, wife, friend, teacher and co-worker of so many. On Saturday night, she was taken from this world too early. Seanna touched countless lives with her love, passion and committment to education.
The unexpected passing of such an amazing woman puts a loss as to what the future will hold for her husband and 2 amazing daughters.
Your support to the Macy family will help provide them with what they need (Celebration of Life expenses, household items, college funds for the girls, etc) during this difficult time and for the future to come. Please consider donating to this worthy cause and touch the lives of her family, since she has done so much for the families she has ever had contact with. Her husband, Zach, will be the only one who has access to the funds for the family.

Thank you for your love.
Anna Johnson O'Leary
(friend, former partner teacher, teacher at Riverbend School)

In memory of Seanna Macy

Mike, an employee of Buss Mechanical and resident of Marysville, was involved in a horrible car accident last week. He suffered a diabetic episode and lost control of his vehicle on his way to a job site in Oroville were he was working. He was on life support for a week, suffered multiple broken bones including back, all ribs, pelvis, and leg. He has suffered a complete kidney failure and will be put on the donor list - any potential donors would be welcomed. He will endure several surgeries along with a long rehabilitaion period. He is the primary earner for his family of 6. He does not have sufficient medical coverage so he will also suffer financially. His wife has not left his side waiting to hear any knews of indications that he will recover. His chances for a full recovery is still undetermined and an extended hospital stay is expected. Although his family has not asked for help we would like to ask for assistance for this family. Any donation would help them tremendously.

Mike Ledoux Recovery

Alyssa and I became friends when we were 14 and 15 through YoungLife and have been very close ever since- I have even had the privilege to live with her for two years now. She is undeniably authentic, hilarious, and an incredible friend. I'm so lucky to have her in my life, and our community is blessed by her.

Back in 2009 Alyssa was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent two ventriculostomies to relieve her symptoms at the time. Since then they have monitored the tumor growth with semi-annual & annual trips to Stanford for testing. She is blessed with the best of the best as far as doctors go... he is the Chief Pediatric Neurosurgeon and they have an amazing relationship.

During her last scan they found significant change in the size of her brain tumor. Due to that discovery, the next step for her is a surgery (January 31st) to biopsy the tumor cells. This is the tip of the ice berg as far as this journey goes.. i.e. possible chemotherapy or radiation depending on what they find out through the biopsy.

This is not cheap. Thank God for health insurance, but even with that, there are immense out of pocket expenses, time taken off of work for her and her family, and multiple stays in the bay area. My hope and prayer is that we can help to make this journey easier on the Worley family through financial support. I know that they will appreciate this tremendously.

Jane just two weeks shy of being 13 years old was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type I at 10 months.

Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) is a disease that affects the voluntary muscles of the body. In Jane’s case she is unable to support her body or move except for the minute use of her fingers to operate her power chair and computer mouse. She is also unable to swallow requiring suctioning every 15-20 minutes and is tube fed.

Jane is a happy, social, engaging, creative and intelligent young girl. She draws incredible pictures using a computer mouse and the light touch of two fingers.

She is very much into drawing and making cupcakes. She has now 250 plus imaginary princesses for example Princess Tuna, Lavender, Radish, Star Wars and Princess Disney Japan.

Her imagination is limitless. She loves to read the Cupcake Diaries and is currently on Book 24. She makes cupcakes for every birthday and event she can think of and is not past inventing a special reason for making a cupcake which she makes with the help of her caregiver. Jane is a collector with her current collection being Beanie Boo stuffed animals and she still believes in Santa Claus!

Jane loves everyone and everyone loves Jane, one of those remarkable people whose glass is always at full.

The highest risk for Children with SMA is infections and pneumonia to the lungs since their diaphragm muscle is atrophied. A simple cold can be life threatening for Jane. She breathes using her stomach muscles and needs a BiPap respirator during rest or sleep.

The families' goal is to earn the money to provide Jane with three very important needs a 1) therapy tub, 2) bathing system and (3) lifts to provide safe transfer and supporting of Jane for use.

The inability to move results in severe scoliosis, a lateral curvature of the spine for all children with SMA. As the curvature becomes more severe it can cause the ribs to press against the lungs, restrict breathing and reduce oxygen levels as well as injure the heart. Therefore the highest risk to Jane’s life as well as reduced pain is the increased susceptibility to lung infections and pneumonia.

Some parents opt to have their children’s spine fused to limit the affect of the scoliosis on the lungs and internal organs as the children grow. It is a painful life threatening surgery for the children and the decision to have the surgery is a serious one and often does not result in preventing these problems.

In Jane’s case the decision has been made to not have her undergo the surgery making the need to be able to move even in a small way very important to minimize further curving of her spine.

Over the years she has been supported with weekly movement therapy but now the scoliosis is so severe the therapy alone is not enough to keep her from the worsening affects of the scoliosis and pain.

In the water Jane has buoyancy enabling her to move her arms, legs and twist her body. Her movement specialist/therapist says Jane is in immediate need of the ability to move her body. Any movement even at the lowest level will strengthen her muscles.

To obtain this she needs a therapy tub and lift system for the tub.

In addition Jane can be bathed only in her bed, as she is unable to access the shower on a shower chair prone. The shower is not large enough to accommodate the prone shower chair and the caregiver needed to wash her. It is also very painful for her to sit in a sitting shower chair. Remodeling the house/bathroom to install a shower or tub large enough to bathe Jane with a caregiver is not feasible due to the size of the house and cost.

A shower/bath trolley that can wheel into her bedroom with a lift to transfer her from her bed or power chair to the bathroom would enable Jane to experience a ‘real’ bath and shampoo!

The cost for the therapy tub, shower/bath trolley and lifts for safe transfer and use comes to $25,000.

We are grateful to family and friends along with outside generous, caring individuals for financial help so Jane can experience better health, less pain and the comfort and cleanliness of a warm shower or bath.

Thank you for any contribution you are able to make toward giving Jane a Very Happy 13th Birthday.

Come Together For Jane

On Sunday May 15th 2016, loving parents Jen and Jeremy Barringer experiened the most tragic and unexpected loss of their 4-year-old son, Bode Barringer. Enjoying a family day at the pool, Bode, a true water baby, lost grips of his floatie and drowned. He was immediately tended to by his parents and rushed to the hospital where Bode ultimately did not make it. The unimaginable has happened to this family, and we all need to come together in support for Jen, Jeremy, their 6-year-old son Forest and 1-year-old son Cazadero. Anything will help in the way of funeral costs, and financial support for the Barringer's as they grieve the loss of their son.
