On January 15th, 2026, my family and I were evicted from our home. Since then, we've been doing everything we can to get back on our feet, but it's been incredibly difficult. My wife, my sister, and I have all been searching for good-paying jobs, but we just aren’t making the cut. My severe neuropathy in my legs, feet, and hands makes it hard for me to find work, and my wife’s last paycheck was not enough to cover our basic needs. The stress has been overwhelming.
We’re staying in a place right now, but we need to pay rent each month to keep it. We’re struggling to pay bills, cover rent, and keep food on the table. On top of that, I have no insurance, so my medical expenses are piling up. We also have a dog and three cats who depend on us, and it’s heartbreaking to worry about their well-being too. Every day feels like a battle, and we’re just trying to hold on and keep our family together.
Anything helps, and I’m grateful for your consideration to help us get through these hardships. Your support will give us hope and a moment of reprieve from the constant worry of homelessness. It will help us buy time to find more suitable job positions and care for our pets. Thank you for reading our story and for any help you can offer.
