Hughie is almost one year old and was born right here in our home. He’s a labradoodle, and he fits in so well with our other labradoodles—he’s truly become a beloved member of our family. Watching him grow has brought us so much joy, but lately, we’ve been facing a heartbreaking challenge together. Hughie has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia, and every day I see how much it hurts him just to walk. He tries to hide his pain, but after a long day, he cries at night and can’t seem to get comfortable. It’s clear that he isn’t getting much rest, and I worry about how much he’s hurting as he grows. As much as I want to help him, the cost of the surgery he needs is more than I can manage on my own right now. I’m reaching out for help because I want to give Hughie the chance to run, play, and rest without pain. The funds raised will go directly toward his surgery and recovery care.
