Strings of Life at @TheCheckout, 7:30pm, Wednesday, February 25, 2026 Composed by vocalist/guitarist Paul Hamilton, featuring Jinty McTavish, violin, Timothy Archbold, cello, and Andrew Vogt on bass, Strings of Life is a world-premiere event dedicated to shining a light on suicide and suicide prevention, and emphasizing the connections we make during our lives. Both organizations will provide support and resources for the evening, including therapists who will provide any needed support for audience members. By gathering people through music, we choose to encourage open conversations about suicide, its impact, and the ways we can support one another. The strings that connect us are our lifelines! The funds raised will go directly toward covering the costs of the event, venue overhead, extra sound equipment, and tech support —so that we can make this concert accessible to as many people as possible. We'd like to expand the group of musicians from 4 to 7... It's a passion of mine to bring funding to these musicians in our community, and create impact through thoughtful giving. I am trusting the truth of what I am going to share, and how it will affect people... Every contribution helps us take a step closer to breaking the silence around suicide and building a stronger, more supportive community. Thank you for supporting this important cause.
