<div>Scott, a hardworking father &amp; grandfather, suffered a life-altering brain injury at work and was failed by worker’s comp. He’s $7k short on property taxes, mortgage, food, and heat before winter hits.

<div>He needs to make a payment of at least $1200 for his mortgage ASAP. His fuel tank is 3/4 empty and he has no food. Plus he owes $6100 in overdue property taxes and they want a payment of $2500.

<div>Scott was injured while working as a bouncer in May 2023 and suffered a serious brain injury. Brain injuries are complex and live altering and Scott's is no different. He hasn't been able to work since his injury due the many health issues including vertigo and excruciating headaches. He is now close to losing everything, especially since worker's compensation cut off assistance months ago and are lying to avoid paying him.

<div>Despite multiple previous concussions WSCC chose to not get him immediate help. To this day he has not even received an MRI and signs of possible seizures and a brain bleed were completely ignored. The lack of quick, or really any, treatment is the main reason he is still unable to work

<div>Scott was working a full time job as well as part time at The Raven for years, but had recently left his full time job for medical reasons. He was due to start a new full time job but the injury made it impossible.

<div>He is a loving "papa" to 4 grandkids, with one on the way, and a beloved dad to 4 adult kids. He loves to cook and work with his hands and is one of those rare people who can build anything.

<div>Because his only job at the time he was injured was part-time, the financial assistance he receives each month is extremely limited and doesn't even entirely cover food and utilities, much less a mortgage. Even with as much help as close friends and family have been able to offer, he has been slipping further and further into debt.
