<p>What's up everybody? My Name is Larry McZeal .As you know the fires in Altadena took out most of our old neighborhood and made the rest uninhabitable .
</p>
<p>My mother Gwendolyn Health and her partner's house was destroyed. My mother has been a part of the Altadena Community since the 70s and moved me there when I was 7 years old.
</p>
<p>Altadena has been our home for as long as we can remember and the loss of our community and our homes is unbearable.
</p>
<p>I'm asking anyone who's willing to donate what they can to help my mom recover and relocate. Thank you.

Help John Garcia After Eaton Fires took everything

<div>Hi there, we are Sugar World, an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California.

</div>
<div>Our bass player Danny lost his and his family’s home, his car, and all of their belongings in the LA Eaton fire.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While no amount of money could ever compensate for a loss of this magnitude, we are hoping that we can do something for him to help him replace some of what was lost.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We know that times are tough, but if you have anything to give, it would be very appreciated — and if not, sharing this with others would be a huge help as well.

<div>The long time Altadena natives, Anita and Victor Fuery (My Parents) just lost everything this week to the Eaton Fire in Altadena! The two have been Residents of Altadena for over 40 years and have raised three kids in what is now their recently burned down home. Evacuating safely only moments before disaster struck, they weren't able to grab anything, leaving everything behind to disintegrate in the fire.

Help Victor and Anita Fuery Rebuild Home Post- Eaton Fire

<div>Our beautiful Altadena city is gone. I have no words and I do not know how our city will rebuild. Our entire community has lost everything including my brother and so many customers and friends. I am heartbroken and full of sadness. I do not know the future for Sidecca, but for now, we must help our Altadena Families. All proceeds will go to the families at my kids schools who have lost their homes.
</div>
<div>lots of love,

Help our Altadena Families from our local schools.

<div>Hi, my name is Cindy Benitez, and my sisters and I have created this page on behalf of our beloved niece, <strong>Sidney Benitez, and the Montenegro family</strong>, who tragically lost their home in the California destructive Eaton Canyon fires on January 7. It is said that 90 percent of Altadena, CA, has been destroyed by these fires. This heartbreaking event has left our family in shock and in deep sorrow, as they not only lost their family home—a place filled with cherished memories—but also their personal belongings and beloved pets.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In the blink of an eye, everything they had was taken from them. Currently, they are staying in shelters, trying to navigate this overwhelming loss while facing the challenge of rebuilding their lives. <strong>They are in urgent need of essential living supplies and will need help finding a new home to begin the long journey of recovery.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We humbly ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time. <strong>Your donations will go directly to our niece and her family to help them get back on their feet.</strong> Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in their lives and is deeply appreciated. All funds will go directly to Sidney’s mom’s bank account for full transparency.

<div>Jenny has dedicated the past seven years to serving our community as a Senior Office Assistant in the Pasadena Fire Department's Prevention Bureau. Support the Reese Family After Devastating Fires

<div>Hi everyone! I am a Pasadena resident and my name is Ariana Flores. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this story.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My daughter’s boyfriend’s house, burned down in the Eaton Fire. Jayden, his mom Cassandra, and their two cats lost their Altadena home; it was completely destroyed and all that is left is the chimney that you see in this picture. This historic Black family house was purchased by his late Grandmother and has been in his family for more than 40 years. He is such a sweet kid, and is set to graduate High School this year, and still has a hopeful spirit. His mom was working on fixing their home and lost all of that renovation time and money. Will you please help us bless them to use these funds for every day expenses as they learn how to navigate this new normal?! <strong>This would include clothing, groceries, toiletries, and anything else they may need while being unhoused. </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No teen or mother should have to be worried about housing and devastation, help us alleviate their heartache. Thank you!
</div>

Restore Hope for Jayden and His Family

<div>Hi, my name is Hugo. I used to live in Altadena, California. <strong>Due to the Eaton fire, I have lost my home.</strong> I've lost everything: clothes, food, all the comforts of home. In addition to the fire, I deal with chronic pain and am disabled due to a car accident and all of my medications were left behind when evacuating.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since I live alone, it will be difficult. <strong>Anything you can offer will help me rebuild.</strong> What I'll do with your gift is find either a temporary or permanent place to live, purchase groceries, and obtain medicine and first aid items. With God's help and your help, I can rebuild the broken pieces of my life. Thank you!!!!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>God Bless!!!!

Support The Butlers: Recovering from Fire

<div>My name is Ashlyn and my Dad who raised me alone recently lost everything due to the ongoing fires in LA. He has always put me and my brother before anything his whole life. He was at work when he received his evacuation notice. He wasn’t able to go home to retrieve anything. Even having lost everything he has been doing everything he can to help others around him. He’s a very stubborn old man who refuses to let anyone help him.

</div>

<div> I’m hoping to surprise him with some sort of relief to help him.

Help Elderly Dad Rebuild After LA Fires

<div>Dear Community,

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We, friends and parents, are reaching out on behalf of our dear friends Jessica and her young daughter Marina, who have been deeply impacted by the recent devastating fires in Altadena, California.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Their home was completely destroyed in the Eaton Fire forcing them to evacuate and stay in temporary housing. Currently, they’re living in an Airbnb but searching for more long term housing while their land is cleaned and home is completely rebuilt which will likely take years. They also lost their beloved pig, Bacon.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Unfortunately, Marina’s school was also completely destroyed in the fires, disrupting her education but with a deeply supportive community wanting to see them recover from this trauma.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Of course, no one plans for this kind of loss or the financial strain of being displaced. We are asking for your help to ease their burden.

</div>

<div>Your contributions will go directly toward expenses not covered by insurance or FEMA:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Temporary Housing and Living Expenses</strong>: Helping them maintain a safe and stable place to stay while displaced. Resources for basic needs.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Marina’s School Community</strong>: Assisting the school as they recover from the devastation brought on to the community and support Marina in returning to her beautiful school once there is a new temporary location.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>It’s a long road to recovery and even a small donation helps. Thank you for your kindness and support during this incredibly difficult time.

Jessica and Marina's Urgent Fire Relief Fund

<div>With the many Gofundme’s surrounding this time period for the fires, we really hope someone sees ours! It’s so overwhelmingly hurtful to know there’s no home for us to go to as of now. And having absolutely no money?? This is a Nightmare… My mother-in-law, Her Husband, and their 2 kids (&amp; 2 cats) unfortunately lost their Home in Altadena due to the Eaton Fire. They evacuated two days ago in a hurry with nothing but a change of clothes, and 12 hrs upon evacuating their entire area of residence was burned down.
</div>
<div>Currently they do not have enough resources (money, clothes, essentials) to carry on and I'm calling upon all you guys to help!
</div>
<div>My mother-in-law is bedridden and beyond the medication , will need to replace many medical devices as well as daily essentials.
</div>
<div>They've lost everything as the apartment burnt down to the ground and they've been temporarily relocated , the place that they've relocated to does not have power.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please help us with any amount that you can donate. My family have to start completely over in so many ways.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My mom, sister and brother in law have lost all of our clothing, shoes, toiletries, medicine, herbs, cooking materials, food, books, the list goes on. everything !
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>There's also an essential shortlist of items we are asking for , including:
</div>
<div>-TENA brand, incontinence underwear for women, super plus absorbency , Small/medium size
</div>
<div>-$$$ to fund for new wheelchair (drive brand)
</div>
<div>-$$$ to fund for new medical/electric bed
</div>
<div>-$$$ to fund the rental for electric stair lift for disabled
</div>
<div>-clothing for female (XS/S) and male (XL), including underwear and socks
</div>
<div>-wipes &amp; masks
</div>
<div>-blanket/towels
</div>
<div>-toiletries
</div>
<div>-cat food (specific to urinary care kind)
</div>
<div>-cat litter
</div>
<div>-water/food
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In any case, funds will be helpful to support the above and moving forward.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The city of Altadena also did not renew their fire insurance for 2025, so no resident in the city was able to receive it as they knew the mountain fires have been at high risk. This may leave my family with no funds from the natural causes..
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm not one to ask but this tragic set back has left me helpless! These funds will not be for me!!!! But to rebuild our family home and find shelter in the meantime!

Help “The Smiths” rebuild their Lives & Altadena Home

<div>Hi, my name is Jarely and I am setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of the Wan-Viramontes family I have known and worked with Francisco for 10 years.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Francisco and his family have been displaced and lost their home in the Eaton Fire as well as everything they had. They were only able to grab a few things before having to evacuate. Francisco’s wife, Maricela worked from home and had her office set up where she met with clients.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>They urgently need financial assistance to cover:

</div>

<div>• Temporary housing, food, and hotel costs

</div>

<div>• Replacing clothing and essential items

</div>

<div>• Transportation needs after losing multiple vehicles

</div>

<div>• Long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi all, I, Veronica (Liz) Flores, am writing this with total disbelief and devastation after learning that our little home of 10 years, along with all of our belongings, has been ravaged by the Eaton Fire in Altadena.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We, Veronica(Liz), Raquel, and our daughter Lauren (13) are safe. We are looking to raise money primarily to cover our family's immediate needs (food, clothes, toiletries, etc.), as well as to help us get on a path to recovery. Additionally, Veronica (Liz) has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will need to start chemotherapy soon. Medical bills and now losing our home have placed an unbearable weight on us. These funds will be used to ease some of it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our beautiful community is suffering; there is so much grief and loss for so many of us, and we are doing everything we can to support one another.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are forever grateful for your love and support. Please reach out to us with any questions. We are still processing and navigating this loss and devastation. You have our love.

Help the Flores-Hunter Family with Fire and Cancer Relief

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I’m Amoreena Stout, and <strong>I’m raising money to help my mom, Jan Stout, start her life over from scratch. </strong>I can’t stop crying, I’m sick to my stomach, and I haven’t been able to sleep for days. Seeing the real damage to my mom’s house is totally devastating and heartbreaking. We are in a state of shock. She lost everything. She was evacuated on the eve of Jan 7th from Altadena. She left with the clothes on her back, a pair of slippers, and a single change of clothes. She thought the Eaton Fire wasn’t even gonna hit her neighborhood in Altadena. She thought she would be back in the morning, no problem. The fire wasn’t even near her neighborhood nor thought to be, when she left. That insane 80-100 mph wind bounced the fire over to her neighborhood overnight. By morning, her home had burned to the ground and is still smoldering to this day. She lost everything. The pictures and video show what was once a beautiful full 2-story house, garage, courtyard, garden, and back house.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Since it was not thought that her neighborhood was in real danger of catching on fire when she left, she didn’t take anything she needed or anything personal. My mom lost her home and 65+ years of a lifetime of memories of hers and our families gone overnight. She had a house full of her life’s travels and memories. Beautiful vintage and antique collectible furniture and art from her travels around the world. The few family heirlooms that she and we as a family had from her parents (my grandparents), and her grandmother (my great-grandmother) are gone forever: All the family photos, photos of friends, friends lost, travels, and of happier times. She lost every piece of clothing, jewelry, and shoes, of which she had a massive collection. My mom loves music and had a 600 CD jukebox that’s now gone. She loves cooking and baking and lost a kitchen full of tools and supplies. She’s always had beautiful linens; one that comes to mind was a colorful comforter that was made of silk Indian Saris, and those are all gone.

</div>

<div>My mom is a very peaceful, loving, and spiritual person. She had a stunning Buddhist altar as well as many other statues of faith that meant a lot to us, gone.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My heart aches. We are beyond heartbroken and devastated. Our family will be changed by this forever. We are thankful she is alive and well more than anything. Our immediate family is small; it’s just her and me, and our husbands. We are just struggling by living paycheck to paycheck, so we don’t really have anything to start over with.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My mom has always been a very generous person and will share whatever she has with loved ones or those in need. She’s always the first person to jump to help someone in need. She has worked with many charities over the years. This is her nature. The majority of my mom’s money after basic living costs has been going towards a legal issue to reinstate her husband, Paul’s visa so that he can be here. He has currently been stuck in Jamaica the last 3 years and unable to be here with us due to a wrongful termination of his passport and visa. So, on top of everything else, my mom’s husband can’t even be with her now in her biggest time of need. We will continue to need additional money for the lawyer to resolve this issue as well.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>What else this money will go to:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Immediate needs (Supplemental for whatever FEMA resources doesn’t cover, or if we dont’t receive help at all.) such as a place to live. With the amount of people displaced with all the fires across Los Angeles, it’s going to make it more difficult to find a place. There was already a housing shortage in Los Angeles. Now with the massive loss of homes across Los Angeles and so many thousands of people who are also displaced, it’s going to be harder to find something. Rents are already unreasonably high here, and I expect them to go higher due to demand. She had a good rental rate. We’ll likely be looking at the cost of rent tripling in costs.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Clothing and shoes for work and in general.<span> Food. Toiletries. Bedding.</span>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Supplies for the horrible process of digging and sifting through the rubble for anything that is salvageable. This will include metal detectors, safety goggles, respiratory masks, wheelbarrows, plastic storage tubs, shovels, mclaren tool, pulaski or axe, hard hats, heavy-duty gloves, and boots.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In the long term, this money will go towards (anything not covered by FEMA ,or  IF we don’t get approved by them.) restarting all over once a new home is found. Replacing all furniture, bedding, clothing, kitchen and cooking supplies, gardening tools, and so many other things that will come up that we haven’t even thought of yet.

</div>

<div><br />

<div>The video that is included was shot the morning after her home burned to the ground by my mom. It includes her friend Annie, who is not only a friend but also the property owner. She lived in the front house, my mom in the back house, and they shared a courtyard and garden in between full of beautiful art, plants, and statues. In this, my mom films as they go to see what’s left of their homes and everything they owned. It also includes a few images that my mom has left of what her home looked like before this tragedy. It’s really hard for me to watch. It’s beyond heartbreaking.

<div>We appreciate all the love and support from family and friends that we’ve already received. It really means a lot to us both. <strong>Any donations you can make will help, no amount is too small.</strong> It will be appreciated and help us move forward with what comes next. If you can’t afford to donate, just sharing this with anyone and everyone you can will also help. We love you all and thank you in advance.

Support Disabled Artist and Her Family

<div>As some may know, <strong>my parents have lost their home due to the Eaton Canyon fire in Altadena this past week</strong>, and we are just completely devastated. I know many families are in need of assistance right now, and we are just trying to help <strong>my parents get back on their feet after this tragedy</strong>. Everything they've ever owned was in there. They only left with the clothes on their back when they were evacuated. <strong>Never in a million years would we have thought they wouldn't have a place to go back to.</strong> My father, who is a Vietnam veteran, and my mother are both retired and have limited income. So, to start over won't be easy, but any help is appreciated.
</div>
<div>The funds will help get them the necessities to get them back on their feet.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And even if you cannot donate, just prayers and a simple share would be greatly appreciated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much.
