<div>I've had the pleasure to employ Caleb Farnsworth at Gibson-Lewis of Indianapolis as an Estimator/Project Engineer over the past 1-1/2 years. In that short time, Caleb has proven to be invaluable to our operation and positioned himself for a bright future with our company. Caleb hails from a strong and supportive family stretched out across the United States and Mexico.  At 28 years old, he is freshly married to a beautiful young lady named Amy whom he met in Mexico while visiting his missionary parents.  Caleb is excited about adding a couple of little ones to his newly formed union.  Family and faith reign supreme in his life.  If you’ve met Caleb, you know that he is truly an amazing and kind person, quick with a smile and sure to brighten your day.

<div>On the week of August 7th, 2023, Caleb received some devastating news.  Along with his doctors, he was on a journey to track down the cause of lightheadedness, tingling in his mouth, and increasingly occurring migraines.  After a few tests and an MRI, they found the culprit.  A tennis ball-sized mass on his frontal lobe.  A difficult diagnosis for anyone at any age, but especially for a 28-year-old with so much immediate opportunity ahead of him.  Not only does this present the obvious challenges of enduring a serious and lengthy surgery, the unnerving wait to learn if the mass is malignant or benign, and the challenge of recovery, but it also causes a financial burden not easy to overcome.

<div>Unfortunately, none of us can remove the tumor, pain, or anguish, but we can come together and help ease the financial burden.  Please find it in your heart to give a little or a lot. <div>As many of you know, one of our biggest wishes is to have a baby and start a family. Michaela has dreamt of being a mom for as long as she can remember. Growing up she always had a doll in her arms and wanted to bring them with her everywhere she went. She has always had a special connection with children, as they seemed to gravitate toward her. She uses those gifts as a Certified Professional Nanny, however she desperately wants to be a mom!

<div>Nevin is a Hospice RN, and loves taking care of people. Together Michaela and Nevin would joke that we do the same things just on the opposite ends of life. He would make a wonderful dad! Together they would make great parents!

<div>When we got married one of the first things they did was get Nevin tested to see if he was a carrier of Cystic Fibrosis. Michaela was diagnosed at 2 days old and has lived with the illness for 29 years. The reason we wanted to test was that neither of us were comfortable bringing a baby into the world that had Cystic Fibrosis due to the hardships that would bring the child, and the infection control. People with Cystic Fibrosis have to stay 6 ft away and wear masks around other people with CF or they could pass on bacteria and diseases to each other causing them to become seriously sick or even die. (Sound Familiar?) Michaela has decided she doesn't want to be a reason her baby gets sick. We would like to stop the disease with us. Since Michaela has Cystic Fibrosis and with Nevin being a carrier it is a 50/50 chance that a baby conceived naturally would have CF. In order to prevent this we have decided to go down the route of Invitro Fertilization. This procedure provides medical help to ensure the child will not have CF.

<div>This process is very costly, potentially up to $50,000. Despite it being difficult to ask for money, this GoFundMe allows friends and family to assist in fulfilling our dream to become parents to a healthy child. And though we plan to move forward regardless of how much is raised, every little bit helps and is incredibly appreciated.

<div>The amazing thing is the doctors have deemed Michaela healthy enough to carry a baby herself! After a long journey of not knowing whether that would be a possibility it is finally a reality! It has been a long journey in getting healthy and well enough to become pregnant. That in itself is a miracle and thanks to Science and a lot of hard work and dedication and the support of family, friends, and faith, we now finally have the opportunity to pursue this dream.

Help Bring Baby Blosser into the World

My cousin's husband unexpectedly passed away on 9/29/20 due to a blood clot. She is asking for help to pay for medical expenses and funeral costs. David Chavez was 40 years old and leaves behind 5 children and his wife. He had no health or life insurance and his wife Debbie is asking for any help that could alleviate some of the cost. She is feeling understandably overwhelmed and any bit of help is greatly appreciated.

Hello, my name is Roger Mooney and my crazy " Aunt Rita", Rita Jack<br /> had to have heart surgery recently to repair a serious condition as it threatened her life if not repaired. The condition was recognized and needed to be addressed quickly. The diagnoses was very serious, medical term is an Aortic aneurysm and coarctation of the aorta. Blood flow is restricted and is stressing the aneurysm. Her heart is working too hard to function. We are so thankful it was caught in time..The recovery time will be long. She is going to be off work for up to 12 weeks and unable to provide for herself financially during this time. There are already several individuals who have offered their time and services to my aunt and we are forever grateful.<br /><br />Now to the woman. If you do not know my aunt Rita, you do not know how hard this is and you are truly missing out on knowing her. Of all people to have heart problems.............you would not think she would be one. She has the biggest, kindest, most caring heart I have ever met. She makes everyone she meets smile no matter the situation, I think she makes it her goal most of the time! She stands by her family and fights for whats right all the time, works her rear end off to make ends meet refusing hand outs. As a matter of fact, when she finds out I put this together she will be mad at me. She will help anyone she can even if she should be resting for her own health. She has helped many Veterans through her years of volunteer services at the Zionsville Legion raising funds and helping our heroes in any way she can. Always the "Elf" at the Legion for the kids, had it down to a science, so Santa knew every thing about the kids. Not only their names,but if they had been good or bad. She worked at the local high school as a study hall monitor for a number of years impacting the local youth. She may not have been on the teaching roster but the kids she interacted with learned many life lessons from her I am confident. If they did not have homework to do,she always had crossword puzzles printed and waiting for them to make sure they were busy and learning something. To this day they keep in touch with her. She is an artist, a comedian, a mom, a wife, a tireless worker, a teacher, a sister, a downright good person who can use a hand through a tough time of her own,<br /><br />So, we ask you to help in any way you can even if it is a simple message of encouragement to my crazy aunt Rita who has done the same for so many in her walk. We have figured that based on her time off and expenses incurred over this time, that $5000.00 will get her through the anticipated recovery time with her bills paid.
