I’m reaching out for help as I work to complete my BSW. I have come a long way in my education, and now I am in the final stretch with just 5 classes left to finish. Unfortunately, I am about $6,000 short on the tuition I need to stay on track and complete my degree. Asking for help is not easy, but this goal means so much to me, and I do not want to stop so close to the finish line.

This journey has not been easy. While working toward this degree, I have faced major adversity, including the global pandemic and simultaneous hospitalizations for both me and my daughters. Even through those incredibly difficult moments, I kept going and managed to maintain a 3.4 GPA. I am proud of how far I have come, but right now I need support to make it through these final 5 classes.

Your support will go directly toward the remaining tuition for my last 5 classes so I can continue my studies and complete my BSW. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease this burden and bring me one step closer to graduating. If you are not able to give, sharing my fundraiser would also mean a great deal to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for your kindness, and for any support you can offer as I work toward completing this important chapter in my life.

A devoted 56-year-old father is courageously battling end-stage liver disease and is in urgent need of a liver transplant. His greatest wish is to be there for his family, especially his young child, and to have his loved ones by his side throughout this life-saving journey.

Because a donor liver can become available at any time, the family must temporarily relocate to live near the transplant hospital so they can respond immediately when the call comes. This unexpected move creates overwhelming financial and emotional challenges.

During this difficult time, the family is seeking assistance with every aspect of daily living, including:

* Temporary housing near the transplant center

* Transportation to and from medical appointments

* Food and household necessities

* Childcare and educational needs

* Lost income due to caregiving responsibilities

* Medical and prescription-related expenses not covered by insurance

* Utility bills and other essential living expenses

Every donation, prayer, and act of kindness helps ease the burden on this family, allowing them to focus on what matters most: giving this husband and father the best possible chance at receiving a life-saving liver transplant and returning home to the family who needs him.

Your generosity can provide hope during one of the most challenging times of their lives. Thank you for standing with this family and helping them through this journey.

Adam Fontalvo was a happy, big boy who loved anyone and everyone. He always left a great impression anywhere he went and lit up any room with his personality. Adam went into surgery for cataract and retina detachment, and unfortunately, he had complications coming out into the recovery room. He went in smiling and positive as can be, and came out to recovery the same way. Now, Adam is sleeping with other angels, smiling down and caring for all who knew him.

Our family alex Fontalvo (father) and Glenda Liz suriel (mother) is heartbroken by his loss, and we want to honor Adam's memory with funeral and memorial services that reflect the joy and love he brought to everyone. The funds raised will help us cover these expenses and support our family during this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity will make a meaningful difference as we celebrate Adam's life and say our goodbyes.

If you are able to contribute, we are so grateful. If you aren't, it's okay—we would still love for you to come by and meet our big boy who's watching over us. Let him give you one more smile before he rests and watches over all of us. Thank you for your support, love, and prayers.

Our hearts are broken as we support Officer Gregory Toone and his family after the unimaginable loss of his two children, Alina and Jeremiah, in a tragic house fire in Cortlandt Manor on May 27, 2026.

While Officer Toone was at work serving our community as a Westchester County Correction Officer, a devastating fire tore through his family’s home in the early morning hours, claiming the lives of his 17-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son. His wife was also injured and hospitalized.

No family should ever have to endure this kind of pain and loss. As Officer Toone and his loved ones begin to face the difficult days ahead, we are asking for the community’s support to help ease the financial burden of funeral expenses, temporary housing, and other unforeseen costs during this heartbreaking time.

Please keep the Toone family in your prayers and consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Every contribution, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that our dear friend Dion Drew is battling a terminal brain tumor. Dion touched countless lives with his unwavering spirit and has been an inspiration to us all—a dedicated husband, loving father, caring son, and cherished friend.

After spending time in prison, Dion's decision to build a better future led him to Greyston Bakery, where he discovered his talents as both a baker and a leader. Through his work, he became a beacon of inspiration, showing countless other system-impacted individuals that second chances are possible with hard work and dedication. He also prioritized building a strong, safe home for his wife, Jacqueline Martinez and their beautiful children, Brooke Drew, Honesty Martinez and Omarion Thomas.

He was taken from me due to the act of gun violence . If you knew my son you knew he was a respectful , hardworking ,& dedicated young man . He was working on bettering his life and i will forever be proud of him . My baby graduated, had a good job, & brought himself a brand new car . He really wanted better for himself and they took that from my son , he didn’t deserve that . He has 5 sisters and a 3 month old baby brother who he absolutely adored and vice versa. If you know me you know my kids are my entire world and there’s not a thing i wouldn’t do for them. Tragedy struck when I received the phone call that my oldest brother, Shannon Patterson also known as “ Cutty Grillz “ had unexpectedly passed away January 11, 2021. Shannon was known and loved throughout the community and the news of his passing shook the entire town. He leaves behind two young children one of which is autistic. Cutty was the life of the party, he loved to cook and entertain and had a special talent of bringing laughter to anyone he came into contact with...This one really hurt...There will never be another Cutty Grillz....RIP

During these challenging times, we are so incredibly thankful to our first responders and want to find a way to support them. A group of us have been participating in the Meal Train program for Phelps Northwell staff, and raised funds to have two meals from local restaurants sent to the workers on our front lines. However, we know our community is full of helpers and we know there are more of you who want to join us!

Our goal is to send two meals a week, made at an Ossining restaurant, to the folks at Phelps. It's the least we can do to show them some long-distance love at a time when they need it the most, while also boosting the businesses that keep our families fed in good times and in bad.

Please give generously and give often! We will do our best to get as many meals out as possible, keeping in mind we likely have a few more months of road ahead.

Let's Go O!

https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/nn762o

On Thursday April 25th at approximately 6:37 pm my family suffered one of, if not THE MOST traumatic moment of our lives. While walking with our 9 year old sister to the store to get the finishing pieces to our younger sisters project, our innocent baby Marilyn was struck in the head during an escalated altercation between 3 men. Before collapsing she yelled at our 9 year old sister to run but in a panic she froze. She only ran once she saw her sister collapse. She succumb to her wound and passed away. We’re asking for anything you can contribute towards her funeral and burial arrangements so she can get the proper send away she deserve. Anything left over will go towards seeking psychological help for our 9 year old who witness the traumatic ordeal.

Marilyn was 18 years old full of life and so eager for her future. She wanted to go to Farmingdale to pursue nursing and began applying for scholarships to help her pay for it. I know family always speak about how much of an angel their loved one was but our baby truly was. Yes she was a brat sometime but can anyone name a teen high schooler who isn’t? No alright then. Someone took the life of an innocent baby. She will never get to turn 19, she will never get to go prom shopping like we’ve talked about for hours at a time, she will never get to graduate high school with a regents diploma that she was working so hard for or go to college, she will never get married or have children of her own. #justiceformarilyn because she deserves nothing less.

On December 29, 2016 at approximately 12:50p.m. near the intersection of South Broadway and Vark Street in Yonkers, New York tragedy struck. While three year old Miguel Angel was crossing the street with his mother, Alicia Llanez and another relative, the three of them were struck by a vehicle. They were immediately rushed to the hospital and a short while later we were informed that little Miguel Angel did not make it and the mother was still in the hospital recovering from her injuries. The father, Lorenzo Rosas is not only a coworker, but also a friend who is full of love and genuine happiness on a daily basis at work and it is impossible to imagine that something so tragic could happen to such wonderful people. No parent should ever have to endure the pain of burying their child, particularly during this holiday season. We are requesting that you can find it in your heart to help us raise money to relieve a bit of the burden off of the family.

In Loving Memory of Miguel Angel

I'm updating the goal to include the cost of her grave stone with what was already raised. We covered most of her final expenses. The last big thing left is her stone. Every dollar counts. All of you have been amazing to my family including complete strangers reaching out to to support us and offer their condolences . I hope that your kindness is rewarded. I love and respect everyone of you.

My sister's cancer did not defeat or define her. She struggled and fought for as long as she could holding onto our family, but the decision was not hers to make. She has left us all behind. She is missed and will always be so I take solace in the fact she is no longer suffering. I am missing my baby sister so much.

Any and all donations will go towards her funerary expenses; beyond that towards her son my nephew thank you.

My name is Miguel Garcia. I'm creating this fund raiser for my younger sister Natalie Garcia who was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma. (LMS) It's a very rare and very aggressive muscle cancer. She has already been fighting this for almost 2 years. Natalie had a few set backs but holds her head up high & continues to focus on her 4 yr. old son Mason. Her dr. has suggested cutting her work hours but financially it's difficult. Natalie has had a hysterectomy & been through three different types of chemotherapy, and is still fighting hard. She refuses to let cancer beat her. I'm amazed by her strength. Everyday we have with her is a miracle that she earns. We hope & pray this new round of chemo (started on 8/3/15) finally heals her. She is overjoyed with the love, kind words, support she's receiving from everyone. My parents & I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The previous campaign didn't take into account Natalie's medical expenses, missed work, or car problems which has been very stressful during this difficult time in her life. The funds from the previous campaign have been put in a savings account until she is ready to travel. I want to help make this an easier time for her and take away some of her financial stress. Keep in mind no donation is too small. It all adds up at the end. Thank you & God bless.

A Life Taken Too Soon!

On Friday July 24,2015 Rosie was shot in the face 3 times by the father of her 2 youngest children . This tragedy happened on 139th st in the Harlem section of Manhattan. She's leaving behind 3 heart beats (children) Zayvon (10), Legend(5) and Khanii (2). Throughout all her trials and tribulations, she was always there for her FAMILY & FRIENDS. She loved life, her friends and her family even more. There was nothing she would not do for them.

We are asking for donations in her honor. All proseeds will go to her imediate family for burial expenses and the care of her children.

We would like to thank you, in advance for your support.
