 Luan Simm is Louizy’s husband and the loving father of their 1-year-old child. He was recently detained by ICE and is now being held in a facility, leaving Louizy and their little one to face an incredibly painful and uncertain time without him at home. This sudden separation has shaken their family deeply. Like so many immigrant families, they have been working hard to build a stable life, support one another, and keep moving forward. Instead, they are now facing heartbreak, fear, and the daily stress of trying to stay strong while Luan remains away from the people who need him most.

 Luan has always been a devoted husband, a caring father, and a hardworking person who has done everything possible for his family. He is also someone who has shown up for friends and for the community, always ready to help when others needed him. The funds raised will help Louizy and the family cover urgent day-to-day needs and stay afloat as they work to bring Luan back home. Every donation or share is a meaningful act of support during this devastating time. Louizy and the family are asking from the heart for help, prayers, and solidarity as they fight to reunite and find stability again.

This Ironman journey without your help won’t be the same

<div>Ashleigh Whitton was doing what she loves—competing in a triathlon—when everything changed in an instant.
</div>

<div>During a traithlon race this weekend in West Palm Beach, FL (4.12.26) Ashleigh was involved in a collision with a vehicle that had entered the race course. The roads were partially blocked for the event, but a car pulled into the race path, and Ashleigh’s bike collided with the passenger side of the vehicle.
</div>

<div>She was airlifted to St. Mary’s Trauma Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ashleigh has since undergone emergency surgery to stabilize her spinal cord. Doctors have described her injury as one of the most severe spinal cord injuries possible. At this time, she is paralyzed from the neck down.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In addition, she is battling brain swelling and bleeding and has been placed in a medically induced coma to give her brain and body the best chance to heal.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ashleigh is currently in the ICU on a ventilator. Doctors do not yet know if she will regain the ability to breathe on her own.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While the situation is incredibly serious, there has been a small but meaningful moment of hope—Ashleigh was able to briefly wake and respond to her husband Patrick by blinking on command, showing that she can hear and process his voice.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, the next phase is critical. Doctors will need time—days, weeks, and beyond—to better understand the extent of her injuries and what recovery may look like.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ashleigh is not just a patient—she is an extraordinary woman who has impacted so many lives. She is one of the strongest, most vibrant, and selfless people you will ever meet.
</div>

</div>
<div>She is an incredible mother to her daughter, Sophia, who is currently in school at NYU, but has since gone to Florida to be with her mom. She is also a loving stepmother to Eric and a devoted wife to her husband, Patrick, who is by her side through every moment of this fight.
</div>

<div>If you know Ashleigh, you know she’s a WARRIOR. Stronger than most, tougher than anyone I know, and not someone who backs down from a fight.

<div>The road ahead will be long and uncertain. She is expected to remain in the hospital for weeks, followed by extensive rehabilitation, long-term care, and significant life adjustments.
