<div>On October 29th, Aisha Al-Masry’s life was shattered when her beloved husband, Mohamed Al-Masry, was tragically killed in an airstrike by Israeli forces while he was on his way to collect food aid. He was simply trying to provide for his family when the bombing claimed his life. Now, Aisha and her dear little boy, Saadi, are left alone to navigate this unimaginable loss in a war-torn region.

<div>Mohamed was their protector, their provider, and their world. With him gone, Aisha is struggling to keep herself and Saadi safe and warm as winter approaches. Their home has been reduced to rubble by bombs, leaving them without shelter or basic necessities.

<div>Making it through a day without the basic necessities has transformed into a daily struggle and tiring effort, not only because of the prices we cannot afford but also because of the constant and daily threats of the conflict itself.

Even though we have no political or military affiliation, we have been caught in the middle of a conflict that unjustly subjects us to daily devastation, fatalities, and bombardment. The deterioration that these circumstances have caused in every area of our lives is horrible

When the army stormed the hospital, he was arrested because he helped treat the wounded as a result of the occupation's bombing of them. He was arrested from there and deported to their country for investigation. We were told by some of the people who were released that he was subjected to severe and terrifying torture during his investigation.</em></strong>
