<div>Mohammed is a 32-year-old Palestinian civil engineer who graduated from Palestine University with dreams of building a better future. Today, instead of building homes or growing his family’s farm, he is trying to keep his family alive. He lives in Rafah with his entire family: his father Hamed (68), his mother Reem (55), his brothers Muhannad (33), Moaz (20), and Subuh (14), and his sisters Ruba (23), Rania (25), Raghad (22), and Rawan (15). In total, there are 10 family members with ten precious lives who are doing everything they can just to survive.

<div>Their daily reality is terrifying: constant shelling, destruction all around them, no safe shelter, skyrocketing prices of food and water, and no access to basic medical care. The cost of living has become unbearable. Without help, they cannot survive.

<div>This campaign is not about luxury. It is about the basic necessities of life. The money we raise together will go directly to Mohammed and his family. It will provide food, clean water, medicine, and temporary shelter. I will personally ensure that every single euro and dollar is transferred directly to them, and we will update donors so you can see the real-life impact your generosity is making.

Thirsty for Change: 5th Annual Fundraiser

As many of you already know, our dear friend, Carl Pennauchi, has passed away at the very young age of 34. He will be remembered for many things; being a great son, brother, partner and friend. He had one of the kindest souls a person can possess. <br /><br />To that end, for those of you who do not know, Carl loved animals as much as he loved people. He was an owner of six adopted dogs whose lives were saved because of him and his girlfriend, Stefanie. He was not just an owner of dogs, he and Stefanie also pursued their passion for animals by donating their time to help animals in need. One of the rescue facilities where they worked was called the Big Dog Ranch Rescue (14444 Okeechobee Blvd, Loxahatchee, FL 33470). He rescued a countless number of dogs; this was a very important life mission to him.<br /><br />In remembrance of Carl, and his life’s passion, we are attempting to meet a minimum of a $10,000 goal, to be donated to Big Dog Ranch, on his behalf. His close friends and family cannot meet this goal alone. We are asking for your help to keep this cause, that was so near and dear to Carl’s heart, alive.
