<div>Please Help Tammy Fight Cancer
</div>
<div>If you know Tammy, you know she has never been someone who does anything halfway.
</div>
<div>Born and raised in Alaska, Tammy is known for her boisterous nature, outgoing personality, quick sense of humor, and willingness to help anyone—often at a cost to herself.
</div>
<div>She loves raising her horses, cats, and dogs, traveling through the Alaskan wilds, making people laugh, living rough when necessary, and simply loving life.
</div>
<div>Now Tammy is facing something she never imagined.
</div>
<div>What began as a seemingly simple headache rapidly progressed into severe, migraine-like symptoms. A trip to the hospital looking for answers brought an unfathomable diagnosis:
</div>
<div><strong>Sinonasal Undifferentiated Carcinoma: an extremely rare and aggressive cancer arising within the nasal cavity and sinuses.</strong>
</div>
<div>Because of the rarity and complexity of this disease, Tammy is preparing to travel on short notice from Alaska to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, where specialists experienced in treating this rare sinonasal cancer can determine the best course of treatment.
</div>
<div><strong>Treatment is expected to keep her in Houston for five months or longer and will involve chemotherapy, radiation, possible surgery, extensive imaging, and continuing follow-up care.</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>She Needs Help Now!</strong>
</div>
<div>Tammy is currently unable to work and has no health insurance. Medicaid and every available source of medical and financial assistance are being pursued, but the expenses ahead are substantial.
</div>
<div><strong>In addition to cancer treatment itself, Tammy faces airfare from Alaska, months of temporary housing near MD Anderson, transportation to appointments, medications and medical supplies, meals and groceries, and the everyday expenses that don't stop simply because someone has cancer.</strong>
</div>
<div>Any funds raised will be used to help Tammy meet these medical, travel, housing, and living expenses throughout her treatment and recovery.
</div>
<div>Tammy has spent a lifetime being the person willing to lend a hand, make someone laugh, help an animal, or step up when somebody else needed her.
</div>
<div>Now Tammy needs us to step up for her.
</div>
<div>If you can donate, any amount will help. If you cannot, please consider sharing Tammy's story. Simply helping us reach more people can make a tremendous difference.
</div>
<div>Tammy has a lot of living left to do.
</div>
<div>There are horses waiting for her.
</div>
<div>There are dogs and cats waiting for her.
</div>
<div>There are friends waiting to hear that unmistakable laugh again.
</div>
<div>And there is a cancer that picked a fight with one very stubborn Alaskan woman.
</div>
<div>Please help us give Tammy every possible chance to fight it.
</div>

It's Our Turn: Help Tammy Beat Cancer

<div>My name is Chelsea, and I’m raising funds for my mom, Tammy Wells, as she courageously battles cancer. Anyone who knows Tammy knows she is one of the kindest, most selfless people you’ll ever meet. She would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need, and now she’s the one who needs our support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tammy and her husband are raising their two granddaughters, and they rely on both of their incomes to provide for their family. Recently, Tammy was diagnosed with cancer and has begun chemotherapy. As she fights this difficult battle, she will be forced to miss work for treatments, appointments, and recovery. Her husband will also need to take time away from work to drive her to appointments, care for her, and continue caring for their granddaughters. With both of their incomes affected, the financial burden is becoming overwhelming.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are asking for help to ease some of that stress so Tammy can focus on what truly matters—healing and spending precious time with her family. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward essential expenses such as medical costs, household bills, groceries, gas, and other daily necessities while they navigate this journey.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your friends and family. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more than words can express. Thank you for helping Tammy and her family during one of the most difficult times of their lives.

Support Tammy Wells During Cancer Treatment

<div>Thank you for your support. Your donation helped defeat the City Council's proposed term limit extension. As anthropologist Margaret Mead said, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
</div>
<div>************** WE DID IT ****************
</div>
<div>*****************************************
</div>
<div> The McKinney City Council wants to give themselves <strong>more time in office</strong> so they can continue their misguided plans for our city's growth.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>They are not satisfied with the 2 terms they are currently allowed to serve.</strong> Instead, they want 3 four-year terms. Proposition A in the November 5th election gives them that.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We can stop this <strong>self-serving power grab</strong> by spreading awareness about this crucial issue. Your support today will help us inform citizens and mobilize our neighbors to vote against Proposition A.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Donate and Receive a Yard Sign</strong>
</div>
<div>Your contribution to Keep McKinney Unique PAC helps fund flyers, social media ads, and other community outreach efforts. Every donation, regardless of amount, is appreciated. <strong>For every $14 donated, you'll receive one yard sign</strong>. For example, a $28 donation gets you two signs. A $56 donation gets you four signs, and so forth. If you don't need all the signs your donation level allows, we can make them available to our canvassers to put in people's yard. Donors contributing over $14 will have their signs <strong>delivered</strong> to any McKinney address at no extra cost.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Stop the Destructive Policies that are Affecting McKinney</strong>
</div>
<div>Granting the Council additional terms means enduring another four years of policies that have:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> • destroyed historic landmarks</strong>
</div>
<div><strong> • allowed inappropriate apartment development</strong>
</div>
<div><strong> • used taxpayer money to expand the McKinney airport</strong>
</div>
<div><strong> • invoked eminent domain for development purposes</strong>
</div>
<div><strong> • prioritized Council's interests over citizen preferences</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Keeping McKinney Unique</strong>
</div>
<div>Voting No on Proposition A encourages leadership that prioritizes McKinney residents above all else. It means electing leaders who listen to our community, not just their campaign donors. We can preserve what makes McKinney special by choosing leaders who are willing to share leadership and put citizen's preferences first..
</div>

<div>I am Tom Michero, Treasurer of Keep McKinney Unique PAC. Our grassroots organization is dedicated to preserving McKinney's charm, history, and community spirit. Together, we can keep McKinney a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The Yard Signs are Important But...</strong>
</div>
<div>These 18"x24" yard signs are important, but nothing is more crucial than showing up to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 5 and Voting No on Prop A.<strong> </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>THANK YOU for your commitment to keeping McKinney unique.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>NOTE:</strong> GoFundMe will ask you if you want to add a tip when you make a donation. You are welcome to set the amount to zero by sliding the green dot on the bar to the left. <strong>No tip is required!</strong>

This is Landen, he is the sweetest kindest 5 year old you will ever meet. His soul is soft and gentle and instantly brings a smile to everybody he meets. He is full of energy and life and enjoys soccer, playing with friends and family and playing hockey with his brother and sister. He was enjoying a day at the Mall of America with his mom and friend on Friday morning when a stranger maliciously grabbed him and threw him over the 3rd floor balcony for no apparent reason. The family doesn’t know him and are completely clueless as to why this monster would target their family with this heinous act of violence. <br /><br />My wife and His mother have been best friends since they were 3 years old. They have grown up together, started their families together and truly have a lifelong friendship for the ages. Their family is always so generous to others, they give without expecting anything in return and are the type of family you always hope to live next door. <br /><br />Landen has a very long road to recovery ahead of him. He suffered life threatening injuries, many people who fall from that distance aren’t as lucky to make it. He has many surgeries ahead in his life to try to get back to a normal life for a young, vibrant boy. We started this GoFundMe for their family to help cover the immense medical costs and rehabilitation costs for the long road ahead. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to hear about their story.<br /><br />A mailing address has been set up to send cards and well wishes to Landen:<br /><br />Prayers for Landen<br />PO Box 43516 <br />Brooklyn Park, MN 55443-4200<strong><br /><br />Only Landen's family will have access to these funds in relation to his healing process. To allow them the time and focus they need to care for Landen until they're ready to withdraw, the funds will be safe in GoFundMe's system.</strong>
