<div>Last night while our good friend Cheryl Carroll was letting her greyhounds out she heard one of her greyhounds screaming and after they all came in saw Lizzy's side ripped open.  It is not known what happened.  Cheryl has looked for something sharp which could have caused it.   She immediately took her to the University of Illinois vet hospital and they were able to do surgery and Lizzy will be OK.  Lizzy will be in the hospital for a few days.

<div><strong>The current bill for services is $6,000</strong>.  Cheryl volunteers her time and talents to <a href="https://regapgreyhounds.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">REGAP of Illinois</a> , the greyhound adoption group we have adopted all our greyhounds from.  She make clothes, leashes, collars, etc. and donates all her time and materials.  If you know Cheryl or have adopted a dog from REGAP you have a piece of her work.

<div>Hello everyone! Those of you that personally know me know exactly how much I want to save every animal on the planet. Since my move to Texas, I have learned that my house also came with a <strong>feral cat colony</strong> and while I love them, I don’t want to continue the cycle and end up with hundreds of kittens.

<div>I have found a local spay/neuter clinic that can assist with the TNR process, but it will cost $62/cat to have them fixed and rabies vaccinated. There are a minimum of 12 cats that will need to be caught and spayed or neutered.

<div>The first guy went in today and we are able to get them all done by the end of the year, but that’ll cost ~750.
