Support Elizabeth Through Cancer
Elizabeth Nieves was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Follicular Lymphoma and has begun treatment. Over the next two years, her treatment plan will include both immunotherapy and chemotherapy. This journey will not be easy, as Elizabeth is also managing several autoimmune conditions, a blood clotting disorder, and other health challenges that make treatment even more complex. Despite these obstacles, we are grateful to share that her prognosis is encouraging, with doctors estimating an 85% chance of survival.
While our family remains hopeful and focused on her healing, the reality of ongoing treatments, medical appointments, medications, and mounting copayments has created a significant financial burden for Elizabeth and the people who love her most. As she navigates this difficult journey, our family hopes to ease some of the stress that comes with the cost of care so that she can focus fully on her health, recovery, and spending precious time with those closest to her.
The funds raised will go directly toward helping Elizabeth manage the day-to-day expenses associated with cancer treatment. This includes medical copayments, medications, transportation to and from appointments, groceries, household essentials, and any unexpected expenses that may arise throughout her treatment journey. Most importantly, this support will help reduce the financial strain on Elizabeth and her family, allowing her to focus on resting, healing, and fighting this battle surrounded by love, strength, and support.
As her daughter, I want to do everything possible to help ease some of the weight my mother is carrying right now. Anyone who knows Elizabeth knows she is a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who has always been there for others. Now, we are asking for help so she can focus on herself and her recovery. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for our family. If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much. Thank you for supporting Elizabeth during this incredibly difficult season. Every prayer, donation, message, and share means more than words can express.
