What they care about

What started off with a possible ruptured silicone left breast implant has sadly spiraled into a Stage 3 breast cancer diagnoses

Well… I have my Pre-op chat today with PRMA. Have to schedule labs, chest Xray, and whatever else is on the list of items I have to do prior to my 11-11 double mastectomy. Cambry has horrible allergies right now so treating her symptoms instead of sending her to school today. And winter guard meeting after school for Paisynn today as well. But had my oncologist appt yesterday. Had to get the Phesgo shot in the leg, it’s like a double edged sword… it covers me bc it kills any cancer cells that could still be in my breast, however it can cause heart failure. So that’s why I need echos every 3 months and can only be on this medication for a year. Just looking forward to getting what little breast tissue I have OUT of me and get the clearance of NED from pathology post surgery. Bc it’s the mind games that has me spiraling some days… I swear every itch or ache I have I fear cancer is taking over again. It’s a constant fear I have right now, which really hinders any type of healing. So if you’re the praying type that’s what I’m asking for please, the NED from pathology and for my mind to stop spiraling! And I had no idea that the insurance group drops you from coverage after being absent 180 from work. Luckily there’s Medicaid for breast cancer patients I applied for or I’d have to pay for Cobra insurance which is ridiculously expensive … along with everything else that requires monthly payments. But wanted to give a quick update! Hope yall are doing well and staying healthy !
Blood transfusion #2 done… now to wait for surgery on 11-11. Double mastectomy and taking out the lymph nodes that were cancer.
Tomorrow is (hopefully) my last chemo ever! And it’s also my twins 3rd year anniversary of their death/birth… I dunno still coping obviously. But spent some time at the creek to release the twin leaves today that the girls and I have been doing since their first year in remembrance.

Plastic surgery appointment went well… it looks like I’ll have last chemo on the 29th and mri on the 30th…. Then 4-6 weeks to recover from chemo then expanders and double mastectomy and drains for 3-4 weeks…. Then recover from that surgery and do radiation (15rounds) then 4-6 months of recovery then implants and nipple tattoos
LOVE my work family! Thank you for everything ya’ll have done for my girls and I!! just 2 more cycles of chemo (hopefully) then double mastectomy with reconstruction thennnnn radiation for 3 weeks, 5 days a week. #christuschildrens #justkeepswimming
Thank God for best friends and family. And got a call today for my surgery consult, instead of waiting longer, they had an opening tomorrow. So more questions answered and one step closer to closing this chapter.

My girls are my reasons to fight & live
