Dana Campbell, my niece, has been struggling with vision for years. After today’s eye appointment, her pretty blue eyes are in a crisis situation. She was told to stay off all electronics and avoid bright sunlight—anything that would compromise her eyesight. This includes her job as an interior designer, which she loves. The glaucoma pressure in her eyes is extremely high at 29, and the back of her corneas shows retinal damage. She also has severe uveitis, and the lattice that holds her retina is very thin. It’s all very concerning. Dana needs new contacts because her prescription has changed for the worse. The doctor told her to go home and relax, but that’s easier said than done. At this time, Dana does not have medical insurance. She has been referred to the Lions Club and will go Tuesday to meet them to discuss what they can do for her as far as treatments and filing for disability. Dana is humbly asking for financial assistance and lots of prayers. Your support will help cover her rent, utilities, and medical expenses for her eye treatments, including new contacts and ongoing care. Thank you so much for considering a donation to help Dana during this difficult time.
