She was almost through an intersection when another driver, likely speeding, struck her car with such force that it was pushed up over the curb. The Delmar police department determined it was a no-fault accident, which means she will not receive any compensation for her medical bills, her car, or the emotional and financial toll this has taken on her and her children. The accident left her with a broken bone in her neck and 45 stitches in her forehead. She is now facing a long and difficult recovery, all while trying to care for her three young children. Without a vehicle and with mounting bills, the challenges are overwhelming.
