<div>My name is Hani Almadhoun, and my family and friends live in the North of Gaza, Palestine. Most aid is being blocked at the border, and there isn’t nearly enough to fight back the famine or save my loved ones. So we decided to do something about it.

<div>My brother, Mahmoud Almadhoun, and his friends volunteered to start a soup kitchen in Bait Lahia, to provide hot meals to friends and neighbors. They bought four large pots, purchased wood for the fire, and risked their lives to dig up potatoes. They also purchased tomato paste and cooking oil, and three hours later, 120 families had food for the day. The next day 150 starved families ate from the kitchen.

<div>Word spread rapidly, and the next day, even more neighbors arrived. Mahmoud sprang into action, venturing out to procure ingredients for a fresh meal. He returned with leafy greens, onions, and mushrooms, crafting a new dish that was as delightful as it was nourishing. The kitchen's capacity has now expanded to accommodate meals for up to 3000 people daily, and the numbers continue to grow. For many, this was their first substantial meal in days, and the departure from canned food was a welcomed change that filled hearts with gratitude.

<li>Additionally, they are located in the heart of the market, so they can easily spot any of these veggies and cooking essentials arriving at the market.

<li>They have also visited farms close to the Green Line to find veggies and have been lucky a few times. Once, they purchased overgrown zucchinis that should have been picked weeks ago.
</li>
<li>Mom and my sisters lovingly wake up early to peel and prep the food for the day's meals.

Hot meals 4 Starved Palestinian Kids in north Gaza

<div>Hello everyone, my name is Wattan Abu El Aish, I’m from Gaza, Palestine. I am reaching out to share a deeply personal and urgent matter. My family, composed of my two children Mahmoud (4 years old), Wateen (1 &amp; a half year old) and my husband Bassel, are currently confronted with the harsh realities of the ongoing conflict in Gaza. As the conflict escalated, my family was forced to evacuate our home in Northern Gaza, seeking refuge in the South of Gaza. Unfortunately, even in this new location, safety remains unattainable with Rafah being constantly targeted and bombed daily, the house which they evacutaed to was directly affected by a bombing and it was partially demolished as you can see in the pictures. There is no medicine nor food or clean water and I can't provide my children with milk or diapers. The situation is dire, and I am seeking support to help evacuate my family from this crisis. The cost of evacuating each family member from Gaza to Egypt amounts to approximately 6-8 thousand dollars per person and the living expenses there are high. Unfortunately, given our current circumstances and living situation, neither I nor my family can bear this financial burden alone. Any and all contributions you can make will go a long way in helping me secure the safety and well-being of my family. I find myself compelled to ask for help in a critical and urgent situation that has befallen my family members in Gaza. The horrific experiences they have endured include witnessing the destruction, death and hunger of countless families, friends and neighbours.

After October 7, they had to receive our relatives from the northern Gaza Strip, there were more than 30 people in the house until the area was threatened and they all dispersed, my family who headed to the centre of Khan Younis. . Throughout the war, they were displaced from one place to another, from one shelter center to another, and nothing was safe, all of it being bombed and destroyed.

Help my Family After My Father’s Injury in Gaza

As you may know, half of the population is now starving, according to the UN food program statisics one month ago. Many of whom displaced, injured, traumatized or worse. Just like Ahmed's family. </div><div>Ahmed already had a thermal procedure on his lower back, neck and knee before the aggression on Gaza started. The discs in his body have been causing him pain for years, because of the aggression the thermal procedure failed and Ahmed has been in intense pain for 100 days (3 months), because he can't get any rest. Meanwhile he is hungry and is trying to provide and protect his wife (28) and their adorable son, in the picture above (5). </div><div>They have been forcibly displaced for over 3 times. First to Bani Suhaila, then to Khan Yunis and they are now staying in Rafah, still under threat of israeli bombing and terrorism (terrorism noun: the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims. - Google). Since we all know that also Khan Yunis has been bombed, after the IDF send a message to the civilians to seek refuge there. </div><div>My friend Ahmed needs his money for the return of his treatment, because the treatment was interrupted in October. He also needs it for a travel to Egypt to undergo a thermal frequency treatment, since he is in great pain. The rest of the money will be used to rebuilt his house after the "war" ends.
