My name is Rasha, and I'm the founder of HumanStandard (hsverify.com). Music has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I've dedicated my life to creating and sharing it. As an indie hacker and software engineer, I've witnessed firsthand the challenges musicians face in the age of AI. Unlicensed models like Suno are generating millions in revenue, while independent artists like myself are left struggling to make ends meet. Many talented musicians have been forced to quit because they simply can't compete or get compensated for their work.

However, as a one-person team handling everything from coding to business development, the workload has become overwhelming.

<div>We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a strong sense of hope as we rally around our beloved brother, Captain Paramedic Scott Leatham of the Tempe Fire Medical Rescue Department. Scott has dedicated his life to saving others, and now he needs our support as he faces one of the toughest battles of his life: a fight against cancer.

<div>Scott was diagnosed with a NUT carcinoma, which is a rare and aggressive form of cancer, on July 24, 2024. His tumor was growing fast so aggressive chemo was started last week. 
</div>

<div>Scott is not just a hero in our community, but also a loving husband to Ashley and a devoted father to their two wonderful children, Kaden (14) and Kali (12). His favorite thing to do is spending time with his family. He loves going on special lunch dates with Ashley to Red Robin or Chili’s for his favorite hamburgers. He enjoys playing basketball and football with Kaden. He also enjoys playing barbies and dolls with Kali. Some of Scott’s other hobbies are playing basketball before shift with his Tempe Fire family, reading, golfing, and continuously learning. Scott loves cheering for his home teams, the Arizona Cardinals and Phoenix Suns.

<div>Scott was hired with the Tempe Fire Medical Rescue Department in February 2013 and was promoted to Captain Paramedic in February 2022. He is a Technical Rescue Technician, SWAT Medic, and is a member of the Dive Team. He is currently assigned as the Captain for E278/SQ278.

Honor Captain Scott Leatham: Support His Family Through Loss

<div>I never in my life thought I'd be writing something like this, but life throws crazy curveballs at you and you just have to take it for what it is. These last few months I’ve spent countless nights alone, crying, asking myself… why me.
</div>

<div>On November 1st 2023, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and it threw my life into a complete whirlwind. It’s been something I’ve been fighting with for the last few months &amp; has been a mental battle I've had to deal with internally, all while maintaining my happiness on the outside. This really taught me to always be nice to everyone, because you never know what they're going through. For those that don't know, Multiple Sclerosis is a brain disease in which the immune system eats away at the protective covering of nerves. In MS, it attacks the brain and spinal cord, resulting in nerve damage that disrupts communication between the brain and the body. The first MS episode I had was a condition called optical neuritis, which caused me to lose vision in my right eye. But, thanks to my amazing doctors and their medicine, I've been able to recover about 70% of my vision.

<div>The good news is that we found my condition at a very early stage, so it will be a battle that's in my favor. The bad news is that there is no cure and there's a 60% chance it will get worse. That’s why I’ll be using the funds from this campaign to not only help pay for my medical bills and the extremely expensive treatment I have to undergo, but also to start my own foundation.

<div>The Nolimit Foundation will focus on research and development to find a cure for this disease through experimental medicine, lifestyle changes, health &amp; wellness routines and holistic approaches.

<div>I want to help others battling this disease, and will work tirelessly with all of my soul to help find a cure – no matter what it takes. I will be partnering with the University of Miami &amp; many others to start the foundation, and it will be the first of its kind to exist in the city of Miami. We will find a cure if my life depends on it (because it does). I know this will probably be one of the most challenging things I've ever done in my life and I know it will take a lot to accomplish this successfully, But where there's a will, there's a way. I wouldn’t call my self Nolimit if it wasn’t possible.

Help Fight Luke's Battle Against MS

<p>This fund will be for the defense of Atilis Gym Bellmawr members as well as staff and volunteers.Money will also be utilized to pay the bills for the months we have been closed due to the COVID pandemic. A few of the members, along with owners Frank and Ian were served with summons throughout the week. The Atilis Bellmawr Attorney Kevin Barry will be representing all of our staff and members who incur any charges. This fund is to support the efforts to reopen and stay open, as well as assist in any financial hardships the staff or members endure due to the shutdown. From the bottom of our hearts we thank every one of you for supporting us through this tough time- and we are thankful for any funds donated to us. All money not used will be donated to other businesses who have been fined for reopening.

Atilis Bellmawr Court Relief

This is hard to write. Yesterday morning Danh Tran unexpectedly passed away from COVID leaving all of us feeling shaken, saddened, and scared. He was one of the most genuine, caring, real guys out there. There are more people that consider him a best friend and that was the way he lived. The life of the party and always there. More than that he was a fiancé and soon to be the husband to his beloved Jessica. A father figure to her brother and now their worlds are shattered. They were set to close on a house this next week and start their journey together getting married and being husband and wife. This now has all changed and Jessica has to move out and find a new place to live, find the strength bury her best friend and grieve all at the same time. Please donate what you can so that we can make sure that Danh gets the resting place he deserves, Jessica can get into a safe place, take the time off she needs to process what just happened and also so that she can be financially stable through the coming road ahead.
