Ronnie III is a young father who has always wanted to be present in his son Ronnie IV’s life. Recently, he reported concerns about abuse to the police regarding Ronnie IV’s mother. After the initial investigation, the CPS caseworker determined that the allegations were false and planned to close the case as soon as possible. However, just a few days later, a new caseworker from a different parish arrived and removed Ronnie IV from Ronnie III’s care without a court order or warrant. The removal was based on false allegations and concerns about Ronnie IV’s weight, even though the caseworker who took him said he looked healthy and happy.
Since then, Ronnie III has faced a series of challenges. He was promised supervised visitations with Ronnie IV, but the first scheduled visit was suddenly cancelled, with the explanation that Ronnie IV had contracted COVID. Before being taken, Ronnie IV had only been sick twice in his nearly five months of life, and now, separated from his family, he is facing new health concerns. Ronnie III is not one of those young dads who avoids responsibility—he has always wanted to care for his child and be a loving presence in his life. Our family is heartbroken and determined to fight for Ronnie IV’s return.
We are seeking funds to hire a lawyer who will fight for Ronnie III and Ronnie IV, expose the false allegations made by CPS, and help bring Ronnie IV back home where he is loved and cared for by his family. Legal fees are expensive, and we need as much support as possible to secure a strong advocate for Ronnie III. Thank you for supporting our family and giving us hope for Ronnie IV’s return.
