hey, i'm Athena. i'm raising funds for my mother Annie, because our car broke down completely. the car's engine is completely fried, and it's a lot of money for us to pay. right now, we do not have the money to get it fixed or to get a new one. my mother does not earn enough from her job, and i'm just about to start a new job. if we do pay this money from our savings, we won't have any money left to pay rent with (rent is $900). on top of that, my mother is really sick (she is recovering from thyroid cancer) so we need to save money for her treatment and medicine as well. we don't really have a support system within our family that can help with our financial instability, which is why i started this GoFundMe for her. any money helps, really, as this car is our primary mode of transportation right now for work and school, and it's really important that we have the money to at least fix it. thank you!
