<div>Ander turned 6 years old in April 2026. Before this cancer stole his childhood, Ander was very loving, kind hearted, friendly, happy, and always had a beautiful smile on his face. He loved to dance and sing all loud. He loved outdoor activities and playing with kids of his age. He was diagnosed with autism in April 2023. At age 3, he was non-verbal, but when he started TK  he began talk, express his feelings, and letting us know his needs in his own words. He found his voice back then, and it was a beautiful gift to our family.

<div> In January 2026, what was supposed to be a wellness visit to the doctor ended with Ander in a hospital bed, unable to move or talk. Little by little, he began having trouble breathing, needed oxygen, and required seizure medication. He was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a rare, highly aggressive, and inoperable brain tumor found in the pons (brainstem) of children, typically aged 5–7. DIPG causes rapid neurological decline—including vision issues, facial weakness, and mobility loss—due to rapid, diffuse growth. While radiation provides temporary relief, it is unfortunately fatal, usually within a year.

<div> It’s been 3 months since Ander’s diagnosis and a lot has changed. After he finished radiation therapy, we saw many positive changes, but on his most recent MRI in April, we learned that the tumor had not changed in size. Despite our hopes, we are now at home with hospice care, focusing on making every moment count for Ander. We have also decided to move forward with modeyso as his treatment, hoping to give him the best chance and quality of life we can.

<div> We are determined to give Ander as much comfort and joy as possible. The funds raised will help us cover medical care, provide comfort items, and fulfill every possible wish for Ander during this precious time. <div>Kairi’s father is fighting his own cancer—squamous cell carcinoma—while her mother, who is pregnant and due in April, is carrying both a baby and an unimaginable emotional burden.

<div>At home and in prayer are Kairi’s four brothers and sisters, who ask every day for their sister to be healed. Their parents are doing everything they can to stay strong, but this journey is overwhelming in every way.

Support Kairi's Fight and Family Needs

On Monday November 16, Amparo Sanchez, loving mother of Stephanie, Nathalie, and Vladimir was discovered to have had a brain aneurysm and multiple strokes. She is presently in the Intensive Care Unit following having brain surgery. She remains unconscious but vitals are stable and heart strong. If you know Amparo, you know she is strong, caring, generous and a fighter. We are all hopeful she can survive this.

Amparo was responsible for the full care of her adult son with Autism. He himself requires 24 hour support. Since the incident Amparo’s daughters have stepped in to take on all responsibilities to navigate the health system and legal system to support both their mother and brother.

There are several expenses at pay to sustain each of their financial obligations, home bills, medical bills and daily care needs. We welcome any help from family, friends, and good hearted people who wish to lift a little relief of this burden.

El lunes 16 de noviembre, se descubrió que Amparo Sánchez, madre amorosa de Stephanie, Nathalie y Vladimir, tenía un aneurisma cerebral y múltiples accidentes cerebrovasculares. Actualmente se encuentra en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos luego de someterse a una cirugía cerebral. Ella permanece inconsciente pero los signos vitales son estables y el corazón fuerte. Si conoces a Amparo, sabes que es fuerte, cariñosa, generosa y luchadora. Todos tenemos la esperanza de que pueda sobrevivir a esto.

Amparo era responsable del cuidado completo de su hijo adulto con autismo. Él mismo necesita soporte las 24 horas. Desde el incidente, las hijas de Amparo han intervenido para asumir todas las responsabilidades de navegar el sistema de salud y el sistema legal para apoyar tanto a su madre como a su hermano.

Hay varios gastos a pagar para mantener cada una de sus obligaciones financieras, facturas del hogar, facturas médicas y necesidades de atención diaria. Agradecemos cualquier ayuda de familiares, amigos y personas de buen corazón que deseen aliviar un poco esta carga.
