My world changed forever when my husband passed away in April, leaving behind me and our two young daughters, ages 8 and 5. He was our family's provider, and his sudden loss has left us struggling to cover even the most basic needs.
It all started in February when my son took my husband to the hospital after he wasn't feeling well. They spent hours there, and after a long night, we were told he could go home if he didn't have a headache. Just a few hours later, he suffered two strokes and a seizure. He was life-flighted to Riverside, where he went straight into surgery for a brain blockage. He needed a trach and a feeding tube, and spent about three weeks in the hospital before being sent to a nursing home. Unfortunately, the care he received there was not what he deserved, and I had to move him closer to home. After a tragic accident at the new facility, his health declined rapidly, and he passed away on April 16th.
Now, I am left to care for our daughters on my own, facing funeral expenses, rent, and bills with no income. I am reaching out for help because I want to give my husband the service he deserves and keep a roof over our heads for our girls. Any support you can give would mean the world to us as we try to rebuild our lives. Thank you for reading our story and for any help you can offer.
