I’m starting this fundraiser for my good friend, John who lives in Jeffersonville IN whose house caught fire yesterday, September 16, 2026. As most people know, losing your home to any tragedy, like a house fire, is not only devastating but also makes the days afterward incredibly stressful. This is especially true when the one place meant to be a safe haven is ruined. Right now, John needs support to begin rebuilding his day-to-day life and to navigate the immediate challenges that follow a fire. Funds raised will help him replace basic necessities such as clothing, hygiene products, and pet care items for his cat. They will also assist with temporary housing costs, including a rental place or hotel stays. I want to help John get back on his feet and find some stability during this incredibly difficult time.
