Mua'mmar Khilla

My name is Moamer Ramadan Khilla. I am a Palestinian journalist, writer, and father from Gaza, Palestine. I am currently living in Gaza with my family under extremely difficult conditions after our home was destroyed and we were displaced multiple times during the ongoing crisis. This fundraiser has been created with the help of a trusted friend, Christine Lang, who is based in Austria and is the official organizer of this campaign. Due to financial and technical restrictions in Gaza, I am unable to receive international funds directly. Christine is managing this fundraiser on my behalf, and all donations will be received in her account and then securely transferred to me and my family through trusted and available channels. I am raising funds to support myself and my immediate family, including my wife and daughters, who are currently in urgent need of assistance. Recently, I was diagnosed with bone cancer (multiple myeloma), a serious and life-threatening condition that requires urgent and specialized medical care. I need advanced tests, continuous monitoring, and proper treatment, which are not available under the current conditions in Gaza. Without timely and appropriate care, my condition may worsen. This is a race against time. In addition to my illness, I have lost my home, my stability, and my son. Today, my family and I are trying to survive in extremely harsh conditions, while I struggle to protect them and find a path to proper medical care. The funds will be used for: - Urgent medical evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care - Basic living expenses such as food, shelter, and daily survival needs - Recovery from the destruction of our home - Supporting my daughters’ university education Every donation will go directly toward helping us survive, access life-saving medical care, and rebuild some stability in our lives.
