Hormone therapy and medication only gets you so far, though, and I have both gender confirmation and facial feminization surgeries scheduled for November of 2024, which, thankfully, my insurance covered. I know. Usually it's the surgeries on their own that need a gofundme, but this is here because of everything else that isn't getting covered.

<div>This fund exists because since I'm self employed, there's no such thing as medical leave or paid time off to cover my recovery, and I'm looking at up to two months of me being unable to work and keep myself fed and homed. The fund also exists to cover things like my stay in another town where I'll be stuck for the first two weeks of recovery, any other emergency expenses that might arise in the meantime, and the usual 'expenses not covered by insurance' that seem to plague some gender confirmation procedures. I'm trying to cover my bases and make sure that the thing I need to put an end to my dysphoria and help me live a much better life doesn't put me at risk in other ways.

They have been living in fear with the constant anxiety of being under heavy bombardment and the constant sound of drones. Jamal desperately wants to ensure the safety of his family. The situation is very difficult, they did not even want to make a go fund me because they are not used to asking people for help let alone begging for money, but this is their only option for survival and Jamal cannot see his family suffer like this any longer. Be it modifying action figures into custom figs I wished existed, sculpting characters or making my own animation cels - it has always been my passion to create. This led me to a professional career in collectible product development.

<div><strong>The Concept:</strong> Create sculptural canvas collectible wall art that consists of 3D hand-sculpted and hand-painted characters on a printed (or painted) canvas background depicting cartoon scenes that any fan of film or animation will be excited to display in their home.

<div><strong>The Goal:</strong> Sell enough limited editions to allow me to pursue the dream of creating my own line of collectibles as a full-time job! This requires me to mold, cast, paint, and assemble by hand multiple sculptural canvas copies based on an original version.

<div><strong>The Contribution:</strong> Your funding will allow me to purchase the multitude of supplies I need to create the hand-made limited edition replicas based on my original sculptures. Sculptural Canvas Art...and Beyond!

Bees is our 12 year old nebelung mix cat, former gutter kitten, and prolific trash cat. She has always loved to chew on plastic, but today she actually ingested some and we had to take her to the vet (finding plastic in cat vomit - not great). After sedating her because she kept trying to murder them, they did some x-rays and it turns out that she barfed up all the plastic, but she has a huge mass on one of her kidneys. I was crying before the vet finished her sentence. This cat has been with me for 12 years. She has been on two planes just to move back to Indianapolis with me from Arizona. She has saved my life in my lowest moments more times than I can count. Right now, I don't have the $2000 (possibly more) to save hers. My parents paid the $500 that we owed just for today, but as soon as we can raise the estimate of around $800 plus money for medications, we are taking her in so they can test the mass, do an ultrasound, and get her bloodwork done. After that we will likely need more to have the mass removed regardless of what it is. Please help if you can, and share if you can't. I know we're all struggling.<br /><br />Update 7/2/19 - Please see our latest update note for her diagnosis and details. We're going to need more help. :(
